Certainly a full house and such great variety of traction and rolling stock. Will be staying at a hotel next to the line in July, but will only be able to see stock from the perimeter fence and main gate. Nice to 37418 in her new livery.
Didn’t realise that there’s 5 ex LNER HSTs 😍, I’ve seen 4 out of the 5 hopefully the 5th one comes out, also I rly hope that 43290 gets a fresh re paint & not something worse happening.
Did anyone sneak around the RTC when it was still BR?..we should have done that..put a tie on and walked through the main doors as technically it all belonged to us 🤩🤔
Nice video great camera work as usual i am really looking forward to seeing your next video i hope you get a nice video next time also when is your video going to be on TH-cam bye for now Philip
Yes such a pity drones weren't around when the loco, carriage works, etches park and RTC covered all the land around Derby station. Over 10,000 people employed there in late 70's early 80's

It's not so much the physical effort or even the skill involved in operating the controls, it's the route knowledge and knowing where every signal, every speed restriction, every bridge, and knowing where exactly you are in the dark and in any weather that requires special knowledge. Just ask Don Coffey
Superb video as always. Derby RTC / Etches Park is my local area, always something to see. Thanks for doing this.

Weird seeing street lights in the yard! Normally have specific yard lights dont they?
How many HST power cars Network Rail/Colas have now. Some of them might be for spares i suppose.
Colas has 10 I think, NR has 6? maybe for the measurement train
So many dross Voyagers and dmus 😒😒
