True.... I took 20 years to walk out of a narcissistic relationship.... Coincidentally, even I am an architect..... The story is classic story of narcissistic abuse.... The only way forward is way out of the relationship..... I was a modern confident girl... Went to a stage where i was told i was a 'good for nothing'... But after getting out, I am back to my confident self.... I have a gud job too.... I love JAM... Its tedious to watch for you, it was unimaginbly tedious to live 20 years like that....
More power to you! I've also just walked out of something similar where I was made to feel worthless. 6 years of mental abuse has finally ended. It does take a while to heal and to find the guts within yourself to leave something so toxic. JAM might be tedious for most but it depicts reality really well. It's not easy to make an empowered woman feel empowered about herself.
Hi Amna and Hassan! I have survived out of narcissistic abusive marriage and let me tell you, narcissists are not like typical bad/toxic/chauvinist men that you have seen mostly. Please understand that narcs play with your mind and body in a way where reality becomes clouded to you. I would recommend you both to please read on narcissistic abuse. JAM is a perfect depiction of how narcs rip you off your confidence, identity, realization of reality. Its difficult to watch because its very difficult to understand tactics of a narc.
Hello Aamna i just wanted to point out what a brilliant script Jaisi apki marzi is. We have always talked about lousy depiction of psychological disorders in dramas but in JAM Sherry's character is the book definition of a Narcissist. The delusion of grandeur, mind games occasional love bombs all are features of a Narcissist. That's how they abuse and manipulate their victims, isolate them . Also confuse them . In the end if they get the courage to leave they are left questioning everything in their life no matter how bright they are . Sherry has all the traits and his sister is enabler. It's a great script, only thing that could have been better is supporting cast
Yes, true. The gaslighting shown that Alizeh is going through is just like it happens in real life to unassuming people who get fooled by covert narcs.
Indeed. Loving the complexity of their toxic relationship. Thank God, somebody has moved on from the domestic abuse to more complex issues & forms of abuse.
Agree. When you watch a play like JAM it has to be watched with the concentration it deserves, both brother and sister are playing mind games that narcissists play typically. They are showing a gradual unraveling of Alizeh at the hands of her husband, they are showing women in similar situations a mirror. Alizeh is being isolated from everything and everyone she loves without her knowing about it.
Gumn: MaYa and Ryaan met in 2013 (new year eve), Ryaan's scenes with his sister werefrom 2015 (as she filled the document), Srha died in 2017, Maya's father in 2018 (as she said 3 years back), Ryaan's father in 2019. And current time is 2021. I guess not showing dates is deliberate as "keep guessing" adds more to thrillers. Shahid had got wallet and there was a picture or card that he took out and threw casually. Why he's not telling about it. Then Shahid recongnizes Kashif Hussain when they were standing on street and he doesn't take any action. I agree with Hassan. Till now it seems a revenge case. This good boy has turned into an evil one after his sister's death. And Maha's father helped Usman Pirzada in saving his child (Teasers have a scene when Ryaan confronts Maya's father). I must say Maya and Ryaan look very good together. Drama has some light moments too. Absolutely loving those juniors. They are so much fun and Sameer too. Malik Zubair (Sameer) acted well but he badly needs to change his suits sorry "dresses's" brand :P
I like being part of this community (the Haute Squad). I decided to watch the drama "Gumn" after seeing so many positive comments, and I must say, I wasn't let down. It's fantastic to have a well-shot suspense thriller on our screens. Hats off to Green Channel for exploring various genres. 😊
KP: I was completely engrossed in this episode of the emotional tale of 3 people tied in unconventional relationships. Performance of all playing Ayesha, Baraan, Barbeena , Haji Mushtaq was par excellence. Barbeena wants to leave because of Baraan , the truth she cannot tell her husband. Haji Mushtaq regards and loves his sister and cannot tell the truth about Ghaffar being the reason why he and Barbeena left. The family does not want Mazdaq to leave, and Ghaffar does want to leave because of greed. In the next episode, HM will find out about Baraan. What will he do? Baraan right now is the strongest pillar for the family , helping in business even. HM is not that strong and the main issue for him is protection of Barbeena. All ordinary writers go for the easy , cliché, predictable ending by either showing the ex as negative or by killing one of the two men. An intelligent writer builds up a situation and justifies the ending through it which becomes acceptable for everyone. When such a writer teams up with an ace director like Kashif Nisar, we have have a project named Kabuli Palao. Kudos! 👏
JAM : It's very disturbing when you hate a man like Sherry but love a woman like Natasha. What you would have said if the genders were reversed. Please, it's time that we don't base judgments on genders but rather on people. Natasha is as toxic as Sherry or may be more as she not only disrespects her own relationships but also meddle in Sherry's. She is everything that a woman should not be to another woman. Sad that you cheer for her in every review.
@sab-ali They do like Natasha and said that week after week in no uncertain terms. (Amna even said she is like Natasha in today's review, i think). They very excitedly talk about her boy toy. Imagine saying anything like that if Natasha was a man and Meerab was a woman. Anyway, my point is Natasha is toxic on so many levels and needs to be called out like they do all other characters, includ Ramza, who says all the right things but in an unlikable way. I don't think there is any intrigue value in Natasha's character she is vicious and toxic. Simple as that. There is not a single quality in her you can admire or support. The very portrayal of a woman who's a career oriented and no-nonsense person like this itself is a big no-no. Can we stop showing a successful woman to be like this always
@saniyakhan3110 agreed the actress is doing a marvelous job. She is playing it very well. But appreciating the character and appreciating the actress are two different things. Mikaal is playing it well, too, and so is Dure . And Ramza's acting is bad . All I'm saying is that Natasha's as a character needs to be called out just like Sherry. How can we appreciate evil just cos the actor is playing it well. I think they got it all mixed up
I am curious, why did Aamna say she “relates” to Natasha’s character? Natasha is an enabler, a narcissist herself who had issues with Alyzeh from day one.
@nazneenzaidi1722 exactly ..she is no less than a toxic mother in law . I would have liked to see Natasha as a positive character, but no successful career women always have to be evil, I guess. Yeah, she said something like that if I'm not wrong. I wonder why?
@saniyakhan3110 that's very true . The subject itself, if any other male actor had played Sherry who they don't like they would have bashed the actor first for choosing to play such a role 😄
Please hassan and amna i really want to discuss this with you guys Narcissistic abuse is really different thing , it takes a lot of time for victim to realize what's happening and their abuser is well aware and scheming. A victim keeps questioning themselves Pls don't do this this is a really great representation of narcissistic abuse and I'm saying this as a doctor
Hasan is correct, Barbeena specifically mentioned that Ayesha knows how to handle the guy and will convince him to send Barbeena away. Ayesha is not sending her away in spite, she's sending her away to protect Barbeena from AGhaffar.
For jindo.. why such a mean review? It is such an intriguing story. It looks like u r watching a movie. Faqira did never realized shano's love coz he had always taken her as a friend growing up together. Also he was very much loved by the 4 women around him so he was kind of a bhola. All men r not too sharp to understand love! He never saw shano as love interest! Him living alone for some time has given him a lot of maturity that we see in last few episodes. Also made him think about shano differently too. Though feel bad for bindi! Also hasan! He did not have a weapon. He took out his kara and opens it up to make it a weapon which was a very sharp move to save the kajli's girl.
One integral thing that PEMRA absolutely needs to implement is age restrictions. Pakistan TV is always portrayed as some washed out content that is pure from causing any harm. But that’s not true and that’s ok. The truth is, most of our dramas are mature watches. If you have a drama like Neem that shows murder and fraud and an evil person in power like karamat, they need to go the extra mile and show some degree of gore to make the audience feel for the characters. According to pemra it’s ok for karamat to be shown pushing his dad off a cliff, but it’s apparently not ok to see the body afterwards or to see any blood. A while back, something similar happened in ishq e laa. Sajal’s character was shot and there was not even a drop of blood on her clothes. Instead of refraining from age restrictions, we need to put disclaimers at the beginning of every drama. I.e., a drama like Gumn should be 18+ and a mature watch. You’re showing the consumption of alcohol and quite a bit of violence. Instead of putting a disclaimer during the scene, I’d much rather have one at the start of the episode. This really makes a difference in horror shows. I was watching siyaah and all of sudden it says, “children refrain from watching this scene”. It completely dilutes the impact. Years ago, Meray Paas Tum Ho received a ton of backlash for showing a woman that was cheating and the impact on society. The truth is your kids shouldn’t be watching it anyways! Have them watch a G-rated drama like Suno Chanda or Chupke Chupke. These disclaimers would make everyone’s lives easier when looking for content.
Gumn: I don’t think they should mention timelines. Timelines not being mentioned adds to the mystery. I don’t think enough was said about Rayaan aka Feroz’s performance, it is impeccable; measured and nuanced. And the fact that he’s a new face just makes the character even more compelling. Also, THE MUSIC. Brilliant background score, other productions need to take note!
Agreed. Timelines are actually insignificant. It’s basically present and past. Also if Tooba’s hair is short , it’s the past, if it’s long, it’s the present
KP: I really want to thank zafer miraaj sir for his brilliant writing he has shown a very good women in the face of barbeena despite she had been deeply in love with baraan she is not going crazy for him and start cheating haji Mushtaq, but still respects haji sahab and her marriage that's called values.. yes the pace gets slow may be because of world cup going on but again a enjoyable watch
The reason JAM is pushing misery too far is because that is what actually happens, and unconsciously women want to justify what they do. They don't walk away, the stay in bad relationships and want external validation that what they do is right and make them the good wife.
Gumn is so intriguing. This genre is my favorite. I just love mystery thriller, I agree with Hassan, although we can understand the time period showing but yeah its better that makers should add on the year on screen... It could be spoiler from my end but I think Maya's father is somewhere linked with Rayaan's past life..
Hassan please stay strong on your statements and observations!😭😂 Most of the time you are right about something but then when Amna disagrees with you, you start to take back your statements. I've been observing this for so long and now i couldn't hold it on anymore😂. Like you said that Barbeena has told everything to Ayesha and now Ayesha is helping her. You are righttt!!
Yes, Aamma always shoots him down for his opinions because she wants to come off as the one who is more knowledgeable on everything and then Hassan starts to second guess himself. Whenever Hassan has tried to cross question Aamna, she will then start changing the topic lol.
I don't know anybody can agree with me or not but kabuli pulao has lost the charm for me, the magic it had in starting episodes now it's lost. I was expecting after Baraan's arrival drama will be extremely interesting but 😩🤧
JAM is the perfect depiction of living with a narcissist and coercive control in a relationship. It is quite subtle and almost always endured over a long period of time. I just wish JAM would have done more to give us a bit of a back story on Sherry and Natasha to get some insight into why they are the way they are.
Drama JAM IS litterly has been my life with my ex narcissist husband . They have captured this cycle of abusr sooooo welll that sometimes it gives me chills .the perpetrators work on you to come in a position where u stop resisting and you start wanting their love and you start trusting them and you start fighting on their behalf with others , basically you do their dirty work for them . At the moment JAM is working on how perpetrators brain wash you and make you totally rely on them , they trap you so u cant get out. Im just waiting now how long they will take now for her to realise and find herself again and try to get out from this abuse
I am enjoying Jhok Sarkar thoroughly along with Jeevan Nagar and Kabli Pulao. Only watching these three dramas. JS is a true depiction of the feudals versus the long arm of the law. Hassan and Amna, you have so many other dramas to satisfy your hunger for romance. Let love be peripheral in this one.Farhan looks handsome in Police uniform, I dont know who gave him the title of the "King of Romance".
GUMN.. brilliantly written , I am sorry but this has to be one of the best modern day drama/ story of pakistan ! The premise is so engaging what a thriller , a great team of talented people sarmad and oh my God Tooba , I had no idea she could write!!! This is what new pak t needs . Super impressed and agree with amna that no need to show dates they established it in the first two episodes , audience is not dumb, for a thriller you need to pay attention it’s very well crafted . My whole family is hooked!
Gumn has really raised the bar of Pakistani Television. The execution is just brilliant of a very well written script. Also the fact that a new boy is playing the lead role adds to the mystery since we haven’t seen him before. I think the role required a new face and so credit must be given to the makers because the boy is performing extremely well.
But most of the critics don't understand the series 🙄 they are reviewing, like some typical backward illiterate people like Nadia Khan miss overacting and exaggerter says that " In poster the guy looks like Aijaz Aslam" lolz and also complaining about timeliness obviously it's evident from looks
My guess for amna’s top 3 couples 1. Yumna wahaj 2. Seher Hamza 3. Mawra Ameer The top 3 phuss couples 1. Ayeza Wahaj 2. Wahaj Azekeh ( Zaid Ayra) 3. imran and neelam muneer
Best couples are Farmeed, meerasim and saim & zobia Worst are mannat & murad on the top😂 secondly imran aur neelam munir , and off course wahaj & ayeza for sure
About Gumn: Have you guys seen how to get away with murder? There was a character named Frank who was just at the law firm as a sort of a bodyguard. Someone to do the dirty business for Annalise and her students. I think Shahid is sort of the same for Maya here
JAM - Guys... I agree with you! Yes, it's overdrawn, but it shows the long span of what a woman goes through ... the husband and wife relationship is so complicated... it's extremely sad and upsetting, Yes! It's a total rollercoaster being in a relationship like this. It's sounds so easy to say that she should get out... but this is reality. From what I understand about it, it is that Sherry degrades her but then switches to a loving and adoring husband... it's Stalkholm Syndrome.... Aamna said it perfectly... it's soooo real. Guys, there is no solution. The abused partner eventually just learns to speak up, and the other partner eventually tones down, and this just becomes a part of "normal" life... but they will never leave. Sadly, society will not support you... It's just (SADLY) easier to live in the relationship than leave. Log Kiya Karen gay!?
JAM is showing a gradual unraveling of Alizeh and her isolation from everyone and everything she loves. It’s showing a mirror to women in similar situations who don’t even know they are dealing with manic narcissists and his enablers like his sister. Many of the things he does are easily defended around us and I see women do it all the time. Mikael has done a fabulous job.
Wese why do you guys rate Hiba so high? The only big project she has done is Fitoor and frankly, she was quite ordinary in it. The role that she's got in JS is good considering her stature. Sorry to say, but she's no ayeza khan
Gumn is indeed a very intriguing tale, gripping, intense and thoroughly enjoyable. Story telling for crime thrillers has never been this good for our television screens. Hats off to the entire team. However, Rayyan entering Maya's office was quite odd, because why wasn't her office locked at that hour, it's a common practice everywhere specially when it's a law firm and a stranger is living inside of it. Besides, Rayyan could have seen that photo anywhere anytime (if that was the objective), he didn't have to enter inside for that discovery and it would have made a lot more sense. Other than that, thoroughly enjoyable and we're hooked!
Honestly you guys are such a delight to watch. Best part of my day. ❤ please never ever stop these reviews. I was wondering what happend to the podcast?
I think I've understood the problem with working women it's the excessive cuts whenever you want to feel something about the characters the frame changes and you are left blank
KP: Ramsha asked haji sahab's phone to give his phone to her while she was on bed in hospital and she made the video from that same phone too. So the video is present in haki sahab's phone that's why he is seeing their photo then the video.
JAM: Even though I agree its dragged too much, but all of it is very realistic. That’s the thing about narcissistic abuse: it spares no one; no one even if they are Ted talk giving emancipated woman or a meek and timid girl. This argument that just because she was emancipated and strong in the beginning cannot be destroyed to the point of being submissive and a doormat is heavily flawed and absurd. She is being gaslighted by her mother that something is wrong with her because Sherry is so nice with her mother when he couldn’t easily have been. I do agree that it should’ve been fast paced and we should’ve seen the reformation process begin already.
Love the most and least combustible list concept. Here are my 3: Most: 1. Wahaj and Yumna (Tere Bin) 2. Hamza and Sehar (Fairy Tale and FT2) 3. Bilal and Sajal (Kuch Ankahi) Least: 1. Wahaj and Hania (MPHT) 2. Wahaj and Ayeza (Mein) 3. Talha and Iqra (Mannat Murad) Sorry, no offense to anyone listed above in the least :).
Hassan and aamna why are you trying to find romance in a cop and robbers story?? From the beginning it was clear that romance if included will be a side track. I can understand that this kind of stories can be made more entertaining and crisper by reducing the no of episodes but not finding romance in it is not a very valid point I think to dismiss this kind of show. And yes Farhan saeed is king of romance but I think he's experimenting with his roles and trying to different characters and genres so always wanting to see him romance on screen is kind of unfair to what he's trying to do.
It's not only Jam but every other drama, whether it's saas bahu zulm, husband abusing wife, step mother zulm and so on, if it's a 30 episode drama till 29 episodes we the viewers have to see the abuse and get frustrated and raise our BP's only in the last episode it ends, why can't we have the satisfaction and be happy at least for 10 episodes. When will the writers realize it's annoying.
Juno was my favorite part of, you guys do great reviews but the dramas were boring (boring dramas reviews this episode) i don’t even watch any drama you guys review but really like your reviews , watching from terebin era 😅❤ and still here because of you guys 😊
It takes time for the human spirit to break. And that is what has been shown in JAM. You cannot compare physical abuse to emotional and mental abuse. Both are devastating. But emotional and mental abuse many a times becomes subjective and a topic of discussion as in this drama. A strong girl being reduced to rubble has taken time The man is playing mind games with her constantly creating confusion despair and then hope. 21 episodes were needed. I have felt this drama deeply. I think now will begin the rising of Alizeh. Good job makers. You have me hooked.
Its so sad that not a single drama is keeping us hooked during its entire run nowadays. It either gets dragged or loses its plot or goes into another direction. Even hit dramas like Tere Bin nose dived at the end. Its time to move to 8 -16 episodes. Super recent example being Razia.
FINALLY. Thank you so much Aamna for interviewing #ShaeeraJalil. She is am amazing actor as proven by her in Razia. Also, I heard she is completing her Masters on a Fullbright Scholarship from George Washington University in the US. WOW Yaar!!
I really enjoy your reviews and more often than not start watching a drama when I hear your good review about it. But sometimes I feel you decide on discontinuing watching and reviewing a drama all too suddenly… Of course, it’s your call, but I feel we should not undermine the huge effort that has gone into making JINDO, the perfectly delivered dialect, the perfect costumes and location, the beautiful portrayal of Daa Saai and Jindo. Please give it another watch and review at least…
Gumn: Rayyan ne maya or us k father ki pic neeche phainki thi iska matlab usay yad h sb uski yad dasht nhe khoyee..or jo recent time dikhaya h 2021 ya 2022 h
Working Women: I have a very strong feel that Hashmat is a widow with a child back home and this man is her boyfriend. It can be suggestive to prove the point that a woman can be in a relationship but is not "loose" to sleep with anyone who forces her. She gives up on the job instead of compromising or resigning under pressure.
JAM: A man who has seen the world, made hundreds of companies🤔, hires thousands of people, sneaks through his wife phone, someone who has been to one country only and has done nothing in life. 🙄How can a girl fall in love with such a ‘chawal insaan’ and not care about her self respect?
It’s manipulation and gaslighting from someone who has complete narcissistic tendencies…this is how they operate…isolate their spouses and make them completely dependent on them, and then control them for the rest of their lives…
@@sabahatmazhar6056 But love or greed , in case of mother, makes a person vulnerable to allow themselves to be manipulated and gaslit by the culprit. Alizeh is ignoring all red flags.
@@sabahatmazhar6056 Didn’t she find it odd that Sherry and Natasha went to give a gift to her sister without even telling her? And how could she ignore Natasha saying, “ aap humary ghar mae shift ho gaye hae”. This was a direct insult. If Sherry had cared so much about her sister he should have asked her to buy a bracelet for her and gift it to her. Alizeh , then should have given it to her sister on behalf of Sherry and her. Natasha could have sent a separate gift if she had wanted. And if the husband was mad at his wife m why would he care about his sis in law. This is common sense. Alizeh didn’t act like an intelligent girl. All she is thinking about is her love for him.
We can see it clearly because everything is being clearly spelled and fed to us in minute details. That’s why it’s dragging and seems repetitive. In our culture I see it all the time around us. Educated empowered women defending men in all their narcissistic glory, mothers, wives, sisters, in laws as if they are Gods gift to women. It’s not as obvious to victims until it’s too late and all exits seem sealed.
@@mahnoorqureshi3281 her judgment is clouded because of the constant cycle of manipulation…he’s hot and cold towards her which most likely is confusing to her…she will eventually see the patterns and realize that she’s in a toxic relationship that’s stunting her progression…
I have been with a guy for 5 years who was exactly like sherry. I lost myself and my everything trying to please him. JAM is torture to watch now because I want alizey to step up now. I am still struggling to get my out self back but now I want to see some action.
Mein is awful sad that this is what wahaj chose after tere bin also not enjoying ishq murshid or mannat murad and sukoon is soooo bad. Enjoying kabli pulou and jaisay apki marzi jannat se agay
For all the women who write in the comments how they relate to JAM, I wish to hug you all and comfort you all because I know how cruel narcissistic behavior is and what you tend to lose in the process. That's what they intend to show that someone as empowered as Alizeh couldn't recognize the red flags and fell prey to it, because she is a soft hearted person, basically an empath and narcissists can smell an empath miles away. Sherry love bombs, then gives her silent treatment, and omg that scene when he verbally abused her! Her mind has gone so numb, she couldn't even recognize that she doesn't deserve this. I have written this in solidarity with all those women who have survived this abuse. I see you, I feel you, you are not alone.
You both are amazing plzz share your friendship story that how you meet and when you decide to make reviews together plzz I'm very excited to hearing your friendship story
WW: I like the dynamics of Nusi and adnan jaffar's relationship. For me, It wasn't Maria Wasti's strong performance but the dialogues were so meaningful and relatable to many. She contains that heart break and pain inside her and she is not finding areason to let it go. She has not moved on.And perhaps the guy too has not moved on emotionally. Srha's track is kinda typical. But Srha's performance is doing justice to her role. Sadia is so entertaining and surely know how to deal with men :D
KP: Ayesha's character has been shown to be a good, kind person from the beginning who has always supported Barbeena. I think she's asking Haji to take away Barbeena to protect her.
@Amna & Hassan, The Pak-Turkish joint venture Selahuddin Ayubi is going to be realised November 13. Do you have any idea on which platform it will air?
Kabuli pulav loosing his charm to be Frank. They should end now at good note stretching without any reason. I mean you already showed How Canning Gaffar is then why repeated same to same again.
Kabuli Pulao, is so apt in the current scenario of Pakistan sending all the refugees back. Look at the innocence of vulnerability of Barbeena it is enough to tell you there are millions of other Barbeena who might not find a saviour like Haji Mushtaq. As much as our heart aches for Palestine I think it’s important to talk about the Afghan Refugees who are heartlessly being pushed out of their homes, however, temporary the home might be. Also not to forget it’s already getting cold in Afghanistan round the corner to winters.
In these episodes of JAM its completely proven that Sherry is mentally sick and he is making Aleezay sick as well... I'm sure there is lot more to come from Sherry, especially about his past life.. I feel pity on Aleezay's father and Ramza poor souls can't help Aleezay the way they want to... Natasha's plot isn't that interesting but she is just like her brother self obsessed psychopath so ultimately she will marry poor soul Meerab. Already feeling bad for him and his sister.

You're right! The excitement and buzz around this drama were beyond compare.
Please hassan and amna i really want to discuss this with you guys
Narcissistic abuse is really different thing , it takes a lot of time for victim to realize what's happening and their abuser is well aware and scheming.
A victim keeps questioning themselves
Pls don't do this this is a really great representation of narcissistic abuse and I'm saying this as a doctor
I agree with you but honestly 21 weeks are too much for the audience to watch a character finally understand what's happening to her.
JUNOO has my heart. Hes such a cutie and the way Amnas holding him like a teddy bear. LOVEEE
Juno's "cameo" was the cutest, it was my favorite moment, and he was sleepy ❤❤❤😘😘😘
Timeliness was set at the beginning episodes so we could easily understand the 2015 and 2021
@@sab-aliyes exactly. Baar baar bataana will disturb the storytelling.
Agreed !
Exactly 💯 Right..most of the time
Yes, Aamma always shoots him down for his opinions because she wants to come off as the one who is more knowledgeable on everything and then Hassan starts to second guess himself. Whenever Hassan has tried to cross question Aamna, she will then start changing the topic lol.
@@miraclespyer Exactlyy
💯 Right aesa he hai or amna hamesha baat ker k situation k mutabiq baat badel late han most of the time...
I don't know anybody can agree with me or not but kabuli pulao has lost the charm for me, the magic it had in starting episodes now it's lost. I was expecting after Baraan's arrival drama will be extremely interesting but 😩🤧
Exactly i dont wait for it now like before
JAM is the perfect depiction of living with a narcissist and coercive control in a relationship. It is quite subtle and almost always endured over a long period of time. I just wish JAM would have done more to give us a bit of a back story on Sherry and Natasha to get some insight into why they are the way they are.
Juno sitting cozily on Amna's lap looking really adorable 🥰
Guys please interview maya and rayan from Gumn! I’m in love with the show and their performances are 💯on 💯!!!
He got that after doing mere humsafar
GUMN.. brilliantly written , I am sorry but this has to be one of the best modern day drama/ story of pakistan !
Love Juno’s appearance. They way he was asking for attention and got so comfy in Amnas lap almost about to snooze. Too cute
My guess for amna’s top 3 couples
1. Yumna wahaj
2. Seher Hamza
3. Mawra Ameer
The top 3 phuss couples
1. Ayeza Wahaj
2. Wahaj Azekeh ( Zaid Ayra)
3. imran and neelam muneer
Best couples are Farmeed, meerasim and saim & zobia
Worst are mannat & murad on the top😂 secondly imran aur neelam munir , and off course wahaj & ayeza for sure
I feel purposely the timeline is not being shown in Ghum. Want the viewers to be on their toes all the time. Liking it the way it is.😊
About Gumn: Have you guys seen how to get away with murder?
So sorry for your loss Aamna. May Allah bless his soul & give his family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
The Intro was lovely. Loved hearing about their Memories. Love you Hassan/Aamna God bless you guys❤❤❤
آپ جندو کو ریٹنگز میں ڈاؤن کررہے ہیں جندو بہت ہی زبردست ڈرامہ ہے آپ کے بقول یہ نیٹ فلیکس کا لیول ہے
Wese why do you guys rate Hiba so high? The only big project she has done is Fitoor and frankly, she was quite ordinary in it. The role that she's got in JS is good considering her stature. Sorry to say, but she's no ayeza khan
@sab-ali yeah but would you call her a superstar?
No way...Hibe is not a super star..
I watch your full shows & even older ones. Absolutely love & watch your intros & your reviews. Specially the roasts as they're so on point.
Maya wouldn’t lock the door, Rayaan doesn’t have a phone yet and she told him her number is on her office desk in case he needs to call.
@@Schmaltzzz Oh, i was lowkey hoping for a logical explanation and just got one. Thankyou!
@@Iza23890you’re welcome 😊
Honestly you guys are such a delight to watch. Best part of my day. ❤ please never ever stop these reviews. I was wondering what happend to the podcast?
I think I've understood the problem with working women it's the excessive cuts whenever you want to feel something about the characters the frame changes and you are left blank
KP : I think they should finish it in next 2,3 episodes their is no need of further stretch , otherwise people will loose interest in this drama
Even 3 is too much. 2 max because its all come to a climax bow anyway
Here are my 3:
Most:
1. Wahaj and Yumna (Tere Bin)
2. Hamza and Sehar (Fairy Tale and FT2)
3. Bilal and Sajal (Kuch Ankahi)
Least:
1. Wahaj and Hania (MPHT)
2. Wahaj and Ayeza (Mein)
3. Talha and Iqra (Mannat Murad)
Sorry, no offense to anyone listed above in the least :).
Its sooo cute watching amna and junos interactions. So much warmth and love ♥️🥰
Thankyou so much Amna ji for mentioning that what a wastage of Farhan's capability to romance so well on screen is not used 😕. ( 25:20 )❤️
I love intro part ❤May God bless you both! BIG FAN. Watching from Canada 🇨🇦
I love your intros, don't make them short please
Hassan and aamna why are you trying to find romance in a cop and robbers story?? From the beginning it was clear that romance if included will be a side track. I can understand that this kind of stories can be made more entertaining and crisper by reducing the no of episodes but not finding romance in it is not a very valid point I think to dismiss this kind of show. And yes Farhan saeed is king of romance but I think he's experimenting with his roles and trying to different characters and genres so always wanting to see him romance on screen is kind of unfair to what he's trying to do.
Exactly and this epi was good
Yeah I'm abit confused with Gumn, its definitely interesting but I can't keep up with the timelines.
Aamna and Hassan, you are part of our lives. Aap Har roz aayen, what else can we want.
I love amna’s pappy more than the ‘wow’ dialog… i also loveee the sadqay jaun😂 it reminds me of the bg line of jeevan nagar ‘Haye mai sadqay jaun’😂
It takes time for the human spirit to break. And that is what has been shown in JAM. You cannot compare physical abuse to emotional and mental abuse. Both are devastating. But emotional and mental abuse many a times becomes subjective and a topic of discussion as in this drama. A strong girl being reduced to rubble has taken time
The man is playing mind games with her constantly creating confusion despair and then hope. 21 episodes were needed. I have felt this drama deeply. I think now will begin the rising of Alizeh. Good job makers. You have me hooked.
Gumn is the only drama worth watching right now. Writing, direction, performances everything is on point.
Loveee JUNO's guest appearance alwaysss🤩🤩 plz amna, bring him more often❤
Its so sad that not a single drama is keeping us hooked during its entire run nowadays. It either gets dragged or loses its plot or goes into another direction. Even hit dramas like Tere Bin nose dived at the end. Its time to move to 8 -16 episodes. Super recent example being Razia.
Firstly most worst couple of the year goes to mannat & murad😂
Amna I love your scarf, where did you get it from
Working Women: I have a very strong feel that Hashmat is a widow with a child back home and this man is her boyfriend. It can be suggestive to prove the point that a woman can be in a relationship but is not "loose" to sleep with anyone who forces her. She gives up on the job instead of compromising or resigning under pressure.
Cant wait for the year enders🤩🤩 THANKYOUU in advance❤
We love your introduction part and yes Aamna’s scarf is very beautiful.wanted to have one

The best part of this review was Juno sitting on Aamnas lap, so cute man ❤
For all the women who write in the comments how they relate to JAM, I wish to hug you all and comfort you all because I know how cruel narcissistic behavior is and what you tend to lose in the process.

Loved juno asking amnas permission before jumping in 😂
Can anyone tell me what were people sending condolences to amna for? I have missed that info.
Her cousin died
In these episodes of JAM its completely proven that Sherry is mentally sick and he is making Aleezay sick as well... I'm sure there is lot more to come from Sherry, especially about his past life.. I feel pity on Aleezay's father and Ramza poor souls can't help Aleezay the way they want to...
Natasha's plot isn't that interesting but she is just like her brother self obsessed psychopath so ultimately she will marry poor soul Meerab. Already feeling bad for him and his sister.
