If they were meant to do flag face, he should have called face the flag or some variation. But they instructed them ahead of time that they would face the flag to present arms after the push-ups lol

22 is actually not that easy amount of pushups when you do it with perfect form like these guys did. Most people claiming they can do more are actually doing it wrong probably but it's also perfectly feasable to do more when you are exercising regularly.
DamsiePlays I won’t lie. When going through basic training, even up to week 4, I still messed up some commands because I wasn’t thinking. It’s not hard to do. It’s embarrassing, you get chewed out for it, but it happens. Just fix yourself, keep going and don’t look back. That’s what discipline looks like.
I remember in the 80s in Brazil a private made a snide remark during training about one of the older drill sergeants being all talk no walk. The sergeant said if he did 200 pushups counted by the private, the private would have to do 200 laps in the field track in the nude. It is 2022 and the private is still there running naked.
