This cat seems just curious and rather lazy. I have seen dozens of fights between cats and snakes and cats were always the easy winners, no matter how big or poisonous or aggressive the snake was. Cat is the real king of animals. Tender and cruel, very cautious but risky and decisive as well, almost sleepy but faster than anybody by far. A package. My absolute respect ❤

I think in those standoffs with a snake and dog or cat, the snake basically wants to get away. It’s being aggressive to try to get the animal to back off and give it time, because it’s not fast enough to escape.
