I use cable ties on anubias too. After a while, the roots attach to the rock and u can cut the cable ties off.

Algae and plants go hand in hand mate. It's why I moved away from plants in the tank. I have them growing out of the top. Far less bother and maintenance. I just have the lights on when I want to look at the fish.
I actually dont mind the algae too much to be fair if I keep it off the glass lol
It can be a little nerve racking when you leave for a vacation not knowing what is happening but your fish are still thriving and that’s the best part . Algae isn’t the hat bad except for an eyesore and can be defeated. I love the look of your tanks with algae but that’s my weird view 😁😂
Very nerve racking Patty lol, I actually dont mind he algae I just think my head tells me that I need to get rid of it 😂
Great video, mate. I love a bit of algae in my tanks. Although it's unsightly, it tells me the tanks are OK. The way I see it. You've got a few plants, got them growing, and your tanks are telling you they need dialling in slightly. Get them balanced, and you're flying!

@bigfishlad4847 Basically, lights dialled in. Water Changes and then ferts dialled in, in that order, and you're flying!
My video last night was just off the cuff. My goal is to make more of that type of content, just general planted tank stuff.
I went for a holiday for 3 weeks and came back with my fish are all fine except that the tanks were full of algae
We will take that wont we fish ok but lots of algae lol
