I have been struggling for years at desk jobs and decided to make the switch to graphic design. I’ve had it as a hobby for so long. Once I hit a wall l finally realized I should have pursued it a long time ago. I’m so excited ❤ if anyone has any advice as I am working on getting Adobe certified and building my portfolio please let me know. 😊
A bit similar but somewhat different. Since you already have the skills in graphic design you might as well learn a bit of CAD and CAM and start designing physical products. The way I see it, and to be completely honest, the days of graphic design as a primary job are numbered. With the rise of AI tools this skillset is going to get obsolete really fast it seems. I am saying this from experience, right now whenever I want to develop a product, I don't have to go to the usual websites to get those svgs, why do that when I can literally have hundreds designed in seconds. I have learned enough on how to use illustrator to allow me to tweak the results from those AI tools to fit my vision of the product that I am working on, but those tools are getting closer and closer to perfection and the level of modification that I had to do months ago is now very limited. Not to deter you from pursuing your passion, but just to open your eyes to the current trends and how they might affect you in this market segment. Best wishes my dear 😊
