Not just that... The character should have had stats, like thirst and hunger, you should be able to eat and drink and need to sleep. You shouldn't be able to fast travel. Fast travel KILLS the need for exploration and actually experiencing the game... Just imagine pokemon games if they had fast travel, terrible... The ability to buy your own broom or have a broom and fly around should be an achievement way down the road again for that to make people need to explore more on foot. A TON of new monsters and beasts are needed... To enrich the already stunningly beautiful landscapes. And finally, the school itself should function as a school. You should be able to win and lose points depending on things that you do and don't. You shouldn't be able to walk out at night unless you sneak out. And for me the most important thing... There should be way more spells for you to learn.

I just kinda want a simple mod where you can access all common rooms through a password, or use a transfiguration potion to get access to other houses without having to glitch the game or create a new character.
Prefects and teachers would be awesome if you had to sneak around hogwarts would be awesome. Like you'd have to sneak out of the common room and the castle to get outside.
That was my biggest disappointment with the base game. I snuck around at night with Disillusionment for the first few hours… until I realized I didn’t need to do so 😑
A mod that allows you to sit! Theres so many cool seating areas. i want my char to relax and soak in the scenery/views. maybe add animations of eating pastries or drinking butterbeer. :-)
Not sure about this creator, but some creators do it to make you watch the whole video. I would be happy with keeping the name of the mod on screen during the entire showcase.

In fact there's already more r34 content of that than of Hogwarts Legacy characters now I think, despite that that game literally just came out. The internet is going gaga over it lol!
Mouse gesture to spell is simply game changing, it's amazing! Same with Autohomora, a life saver on my second playthrough when I couldn't handle all those tedious unlocks again. Some you didn't mention are Customizable Camera, UI Elements Toggler (gets rid of the white target outline) and No Floating Icons. The game feels great with nothing at all on the screen to guide you.

It's the same team, which did Skyrim Together. So they already had the knowledge and resources from that. And as it seems, there are not too different from each other when it comes to modding. So far as I know the mod is yet to be finished. They are probably still trying to work on how each player has an effect on the other players and the environment of the game. Just imagine getting killed by an friend while being in an dialog, instead of that maybe they could make it more like coop, but with the possibility to do duels.
1 thing abt. Ascendio II.0 ... its good, but u need to choose what u want. Dont use it: U get fps drops.Its cuz the game loads the shading of new stuff. Use it: u wont have that heavy fps drops, BUT ur textures will be loading WAY slower. Might be u are 30 sek in a section and some stuff still has textures like its on 240p .
that unfortunately unavoidable, the main reason it stutters in the first place is because everything tries to load in at once, so you get a few seconds of stuttering the time everything loads properly. this mod essentially forces the game to space out the loading whish leads to ugly textures being often noticeable, but essentially deletes the stuttering.

Haven't had any excessive fps drops personally, but hogsmeade can get a little stuttery once in awhile. Might try that first mod out. Some of the QoL ones are pretty interesting too, but any of the ones that's straight up cheating is a no go for me. But I'm most intrigued by the VR mod. Was hoping one would come out for this game before it was even released, so I'll certainly be giving it a shot. Just walking around Hogwarts should be a huge treat.
You know, a gun as a wand isn't as outlandish and you would think. Hagrid has an umbrella as his wand. So it is very likely that there has been at least one wizard crazy enough to make a wand in the form of a gun.
Times may change, but as always it’s modders to the rescue fixing PCs visual stuttering. I play on a gaming rig and on the base game had to leave it on low because medium caused so many issues you couldn’t move and max was a no go 😂
Mouse controls for broom is great to finish the broom update quest but it altered the mounted flying too much for me to keep it. I'm glad see the modding for this game kicked off at the very start, I hope we can someday have something like Creation Engine to make new places and quests.
the editor shows us some really interesting things like cut spells. since in the spell lock section there's a spell called obliviate and another called silencio which isn't used in the game as far as i know.
wow, i can already see how they would be used in combat, but i can also see why they were cut. silencio would just silence your opponent for a bit and prevent them from casting, but enough spells and combos already do that so there is no need for another, and obliviate could temporarily make enemies forget they are in combat and just stand around uselessly, but again enough spells already do basically the same thing so no real need for it.

Multi-player mod with a battle royal mod combined would be something I would pay money for. Just imagine you could use the whole map a with a broom and to avadakedabra your best friend.
I dont know how the developer didnt think about action combat system or mouse control spells. Maybe because consoles cant handle features like these. So developers dont bother thinking outside the box. They could have included a bluetooth workable wand for spell casting with the collectors addition. Adding a 3rd way to control your character. While using a joycon like remote in your other hand to control your characters movement.
Honestly, I'd love to see a mod that's similar to the mouse spells but uses voice commands instead. Hook up your mic and actually verbalize the spells to cast on top of the base mechanics. That'd be incredible.
I am hoping a mod comes out to give more than 4 spell slots per hot bar, I know the only reason it’s limited to that vanilla is because of consoles. As a PC player I’m sick of it, I have 10 number keys give me at least 6 if not 8 slots per hotbar.
This, things used to be different for PC, you could use all your keyboards (coming from someone who started gaming in 2005). I hate how you literally have to assign skills to 4 hotkeys now. It's annoying.

The MOST important mod, was a mod that allowed you to place the camera of the game whenever you wanted. Up, down, far, near, center whatever. I do have it and it works perfectly, but the original creator took the mod down for unknown reasons... I do have the files though, but I don't know if I'm going to get in trouble if I post them somewhere...
I want that mouse control from broom and difficulty mod. Enemies are so easy to kill when you reach 30+ I'm not even using potions. But i own this game on my ps5
I like the Colt it's longer so looks more "wand like". As for the UI thing, I'd say what size you want it entirely depends on what you are playing on. On some very small screens you might want text and UI elements larger and on a 85" 8K TV you can likely deal with them being much smaller without loosing legibility. But bare in mind the bigger the screen the further outside your eyeline they will be and as such a mod to reposition them to the middle central 3rd of the screen is quite useful to have too. That can be a problem with FOV sometimes, to wide and it actually pushes the info out of your eyeline entirely.
Once they make a "True Student Life" mod, if it's possible, I'll be all in. A mod that allows you to go to class with a schedule. All 5th year related and a system in place to really role play it. Teachers teaching for an extended time, pop up dialogue with writing in note books as you would in a real classroom, just way cooler cuz you're learning about potions or charms, etc.
What I really want is a mod to add prefects and teachers to avoid at night as well as a polyjuice potion mod that makes them ignore you (assuming you've changed into a prefect or teacher) unless you run into the original. Also, to allow you access to the other common rooms. But to reach it's full potential, you'd need to actually have some sort of challenge to get a piece of them before you can make the potion.
that would be awesome. for some extra added realism i would like for you to have to brew the potion yourself and for there to be a really long timer on it as in the books the potion takes months to brew if i recall correctly.

The room of requirement is awesome and if we didn't have it in game, I'd be missing it just as much as I'm missing the ability to enter the Chamber of Secrets. But it does make crafting feel less fun when all you have to do is fill the place with hopping cauldrons and collect every few minutes. I hardly even use the potions.
i don't get why controlling the broom with the mouse wasn't an option by default kind of makes it look like the devs dint program with a mouse and keyboard in mind together with the optimization issues while the game is fine this port is just lazy

I got huge stutters with Ascendio II.0. Sure fps was higher but it came with the occasional hitch of half a second or more. Maybe my SSD is too slow or something.

They are creating that as of today. You can set a companion in the save editor, and people are giving them spells and even training new dialog options

I got huge stutters with Ascendio II.0. Sure fps was higher but it came with the occasional hitch of half a second or more. Maybe my SSD is too slow or something.

How do you install these? The one that boost performance would help a lot but I’ve never modded a game before so I don’t know how to do it.
