Feedback: 5:10 - Getting 4 Materials in your Capital is a frickin' amazing start. It will make it much easier for you to build up 2 Wedges for an Early War. 5:45: - For your first move of the Scout always take a 2-Hunt wild animal of threat 4 or below (here, a lion) for the free feast from Turn 4. That way you can immediately remove 2 of the wealth accelerators from your Great Hearth (saving you 6 wealth/turn which you can use to rush military Units or your first Settler) 7:00 - When you find syrup - plug it into your Hearth asap as a Feast accelerator (2nd Slot). It will save you 3 wealth/syrup found if you were using wealth. 17:33 - Nice job taking an AI Capital . Sweeet!
Hey Jeames thanks again for the invaluable tips and feedback. Yes, I didn't notice the 4 materials at first. It is notably harder to have lots of materials now. So yes the extra material has made a big difference. Also, the instant rush for units is mostly from your feedback. Yes sorry I know I always feel like there is are 1000 things I need to do and missed removing a wild animal. Yes okay thanks for the tip as I have never really had a focus on syrup when I notice it early on. Yes thank you. Just wish I didn't lose those units when trying to take a city of Mexico.
Good stuff mate. Really hoping you make it through into the late game and still have an exciting game going. Where did you read that they have improved the AI?
Thank you Glider! Yes let's hope I survive to act 2 and the mid to late game is a super challenge for me. It was a previous comment in one of my video where sorry I cant remember who. Saying the AI its seems better. What's your experience with the AI? Anything I should look out for or not? I will be sad and happy when the AI stops dripping in their units and do a sneak attack on one of my undefended cities.
Yes great episode
