Hi Lee. That definitely wasn't a 'Pool or Birkenhead urban vicarage! Maybe in the 'Pool Diocesan sticks or, more likely, Chester Diocese. They were lucky to get you, whichever. Knutsford - surely that's in Cheshire. That vicarage must have been empty for a few years, surely. If not, it was one they were not re-occupying and were getting ready to sell off. Sadly someone at some time had stocked and nurtured that plot. C'est la vie. Another good vid, Lee. Thanks Midlands Paul
You use the most amazing garden tools! So efficient and sharp. Yes I was sad to see such amazing plants taken out, but understand why. I love to watch you work in these old gardens. We are under a foot of snow and dreaming of gardening again in 6 months!! Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Got myself the mulching blade upon your recommendation from a previous video , beast destroyed 100metres of brambles on a business estate . Funny thing was it also nearly destroyed a armoured electric cable I accidently bounced off . There was a bang and a puff of blue smoke , upon inspection me and the blade destroyed the outer sheath of the cable and just stopped at the armour strands . Luckily no power outage . It is a beast .
That oregon mulching blade looks amazing! 😍😍😍 Be good for clearing brush before bushfire season 🔥🔥🔥 Rains lovely don't wish it away! 🌧🌧🌧 Actually... just send it here! 🌱🌱🌱
Hard to tell this time of year (and the roses might be good) but a lot of it looked like scrubby old garbage. That Oregon blade is something else. Lot of work in that job.
The hook can slide out of the way so it doesn't snag on anything when working deep in hedges/shrubs or up very thin tree branches. Makes it easier to pull back the trimming head.
top tip with the blade mate got one on order , i usually flail a job like that and wondered how i could get in the gaps , now i know cheers much appreciated :)
Watching lots of your videos atm. Thinking of getting a 5 in 1 multi tool probably the £160 Titan from Screwfix, wondering what your suggestion for a diy er would be, also if the Oregon blade fits these multi tool things. Garden I have has some hedges, lots of bushes and about 40 metres of brambles, overgrown weeds I need to get rid of. Was thinking of the 2800 Titan shredder to reduce runs to tip. Shame you are nowhere near Scotland! Many thanks
All depends on how much you are going to use it ?? I would try and get a decent make if you can. have you seen this video? th-cam.com/video/1j34NKmBMFk/w-d-xo.html
Brilliant job Lee, I've just purchased 1 now, it looks really powerful and should make things alot easier... Keep up your excellent videos.. Ps. Have a fab Xmas.. Lee...
I think I have a new favourite youtuber😂😂 can’t stop binge watching your vids😂 I notice you use a lot of the Stihl equipment, but how come you didn’t get a Stihl brush cutter like the fs410c? Just curious haha
It's a shame to cut everything down, but it obviously was not well looked after in the first place. Why do people who do not garden buy a house with so much land? at least keeps you in business!
Ive heard as long as its maintained it actually supports the structure to have climbing plants on the outside like ivy etc and even creates an energy/green barrier that insulates the building furthur from heat and keeps the temperature inside more stable. And of course direct rain or hail is buffered by the plants so youre a lot less likely to get damage. We dont have gardens up against our houses in australia in most places cause the risk of bushfire is too great and its just asking for snakes and spiders but if i lived in a climate like the uk id defs have an old house covered in vines! Idk what the general consensus is over there on plants against structures nor a perspective of a landscaper/gardener
As long as the building is sound then no problem.Ivy has a wrong reputation of damaging brickwork but it will only go in between gaps in the mortar or old weak crumbling mortar . It will not and cannot penetrate solid brickwork 👍
In the UK any land attached to a property is known as a garden, it includes grassed lawns and flower beds. If the house is of a terraced design the outside space is usually small with a concreted area this is known as a yard.
You have to do what you have to do to get it looking good. I seen a blower on TH-cam yesterday it’s like a stand on lawnmower but instead of it being a mower it has a big fan on in and it blows everything what a great machine would be good for big projects or just blowing random people over lol 😆
Ohhhh , Another impressive job. Just quoting for clearing a 6000 m2 site and those mulching blades look just the ticket. Standard strimmer or do they prefer a bit of horse power?
The blade also works on plastic buckets, watering cans and plant pots hidden in the undergrowth. I can vouch for that. One of the best tools bought.
🙈🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks mate..I can't remember what was happening to it 🤔
I do have to admit the house looks so much better without all those untied bushes. Good job

I used the Oregon mulching blade on the Titan machine - destroyed the machine; and pretty much anything else it touched!

Does it hurt the structure to have the roses climbing up?

do you take your own coffee in a flask?
Hot water....coffee sachets
God so loved the world that he gave us great people
to shame dirty lazy vicars
👍❣️❣️🇯🇵😀
😁😁👍👍
Just to confirm, when you say “garden” you mean “yard”, correct?
Garden / yard yes same thing 👍👍
LHL garden services uk ok just checking. Here in the US “garden” usually refers to small patches of soil where you grow flowers or vegetables.

If you are in Knutsford then you are in Cheshire not Greater Manchester. I hope you've got GPS in your van! 😁
😂😂nope......it was not the right garden 🙈
@@LHLgardenservices Any time you want to get lost in my area please feel free to give my garden a makeover! 😂 Good work 👍

In total how long did you take to do this job?
I dont understand planting trees and plants beside houses , in front of windows
No problem planting infront of houses and windows but you have got to plant the correct plants and shrubs for the situation.
These plants are tiny and neat when you buy them, as the little Christmas trees which cause a big problem when they are 12 m high.
You have to do what you have to do to get it looking good. I seen a blower on TH-cam yesterday it’s like a stand on lawnmower but instead of it being a mower it has a big fan on in and it blows everything what a great machine would be good for big projects or just blowing random people over lol 😆
🤣🤣🤣
So did you underestimate your price if more work than expected. Or are you on a day rate
Erm......wouldn't like to say pal....it brings me to tears 🙈😂😂
the hook probabley slips down if you don't need it or its in the way of pruning
Knutsford is not in Manchester or even Greater Manchester.
WHO CARES!
