I recently purchased the uhd2 53cv from scheels and worked perfectly for 2 trips but on the 3rd trip the depth started flashing and then the bottomo or jig was not reading anymore. Tried everything to reslove problem sadly exchanged at scheels for another unit same model. Over the weekend after 3 more successful trips my unit is doing the same thing not reading bottom or jig. 😢 I really baby my tools never drop my unit.
I know the Garmin units can be extremely sensitive with some of the settings. Try and mess with some of them and see if you can fix it. I had to mess with mine quite a bit to get it to read clearly.
How long does the standard 7amp battery last?
About 7 hours or so.
