We knew these wouldn't be a direct fit but to figure out exactly what will be required, we first had to test fit on the car!

You guys should absolutely reshape the front bumper, that would look sick and be so functional. You guys should look into retrofitting a front locker, just go all out and make this the most badass Touareg ever.

So excited to see what comes next, it’s great to see the Touareg excel at something it probably wasn’t designed to do. I wonder what VW would make of this transformation especially with a apocalypse front bumper💦

Seikel in germany has many liftkits for VW, really nice stuff had one myself

@@DarksideDevelopments their big custom shocks build by bilstein on my caddy maxi 4m, and a bigger size of tire, with a stage 1 engine tune and tune on the dsg, seikel 8mm alu plate under the engine, lovely sleeper more capable offroad than many suv ;) an onroad ... 216 on the autobahn
i dont know that's works in tuareg, but in some jeeps you can change in software (by odb) tyres size. you can calibrate software by change size what car use actual.
Really like the look of this, body lift video will be very interesting too.

I'm sure there's no space at all but how about a front mount intercooler or a big bonnet scoop with a top mount intercooler

you should put bigger tiers, they are 2 small m8, you still have huge gap between fender and tier
Roof mounted intercooler? If you have ground clearance with that set up you have bigger problems to deal with than charge temps 😆

Sweet!! Those Alpines are 🔥🥵, definitely going to see how yout modifying the wheel wells to fit those. I've found a lift kit for the gen ones that work with the air lift suspension. I'm thinking with the 12" plus 33s and my 1.5" of lift I could easily fit them and have a total of 16.5" ground clearance
I'll be making a 2' lift kit, might sell them too!
@@DarksideDevelopments please keep me informed. Would your lift kit happen to include a new suspension system that includes the ability to exclude the sway bar yet keep the air suspension
I don't think we can do something as easy as the factory disconnects but we can do something for sure

These are 33x12.5x18, you need to cut for anything bigger than 32". The size you propose is almost 35", they won't ever fit!

But here in good old Germany your speedo has to be on spot for it to be road legal.

Yeah it's good from the factory but we can make it worse before making it better! Haha
Don't you align the red dots on the tyres to the valve stems
It does help to balance a bit but not always easy to do!
Love it. I’m running 30” tires on a C5 Allroad and building it as a light-road/weekend unit.
Off road anything that’s 5x112/130 is near impossible. Love to see you building your own stuff!

If you align the red dot with the valve it’ll take less weight to balance......just saying.
I made a video about this, will put it out soon but you got things all mixed up!
@@DarksideDevelopments most of the time you line up the yellow dot because there’s no red dot present with a famous french manufacturer being the exception using the dot (department of transport) marking instead, hay just trying to save you time and money on 60g strips of sticky weights. P.s. Thanks for the fast delivery of my mk4 pd150 parts. 👍🏼
Its the yellow dot that is the lightest part of the tyre. Red is heaviest part.
