Bloody hell that was hard work. Looks great.
Belle vidéo 👌 😉. Super Touareg
Good video that. Thanks 👍🏻
Problem with that dent was it was right on the crease of the panel so there’s a lot of strength there to pull against
Little trick, did you know the yellow dots on the tyres are the lightest parts of them, so if you line them up with the tyre valve, then you should technically need less wheel weights.....at least that's the theory 👍
wish there was something like this for vw tiguan mk1.5😅😅
Treg looks awesome. I just picked up one of those light bars for my 7L Toaureg, definately interested in those recovery eyes, do you intend to put them in your shop anytime soon?
If we get them tested to see how strong they are, then yes potentially they will be
You definitely missed a trick not including some kind of recovery point eye in the bight bar that removes the use of the factory tow point unless I’m missing something or its a liability thing…….you wouldn’t want people recovering from the middle of the light bar would you?
Edit: should have watched all off this video
I love it, looks awesome on those OZ wheels. I was checking them few month ago, probably the best on UK market, how is offset? Don't stick out too much? Oh, couple extra questions, if you don't mind. do you require to change anything in software/settings after fitment of bigger wheels? Also, I wonder if insurance cover will not change, if you use wheels size not as per manufacturer recommendation?
These are ET47 but we ordered ET32 (they came wrong). I now run with 20mm spacers to make it look more aggressive. No software changes and the wheels and tyres are declared through modified car insurance.
Cheers for that. I wasn't sure if ET32 would be just enough@@DarksideDevelopments
I liked the bumper bar but how you connect the lights? which wires you used and any dashboard errors?
The lights on this one were wired to an auxbeam controller that is connected to the battery - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/products/universal-6-gang-led-switch-panel-kit.html
No lights should come up on the dashboard when installed
Random thought, how do you decide on the angle of the spots? Is it just as stupid simple as trial and error, or is there an official method?
That style wheel in black fits any car. Have some 16" on my 6r polo and people ask me what I did to make the (bone stock exterior) grey polo look so rally/race-ish😅
Most of ours tend to point forward, but can be adjusted depending on how much coverage you need
I like to hot glue 20oz bottle lids down then screw the bottle on and pull off.
@Darkside Development - Can you confirm the coilover lift kit on your website now has the front strut bolt issue resolved for coilspring (rather than bags)? Did you go with something as described that ends up like the eurowise ones?
Yes, as shown in the video we altered the design to make it fit perfectly now
Where can I buy this kit to fit on my Touareg, a whole compete kit of the components used.
Us 😊 drop us an email - sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk
What product did you use for the D-rings on the tie-in on the bumper in replacement of the bolt?
It's something we've custom made but they haven't been pull tested so we aren't selling them as a recovery point as of yet
So i watched a few of these vids last week and went and bought one.. Is the cayenne exhaust a better design for the v6?
In theory, with the cayennes having twin pipes, there should be better flow but can't see it making much of a difference
Nice build. I'd be interesting a van or pick-up conversion for tax purposes.
Funnily enough due to those tax reasons it's really expensive getting a pick up especially crew cab in my part of ireland now ,have seen hiluxes and land cruisers and the like go for 10k and they are well over ten years old and they have got mileage. Vans are cheap though they went up during covid.
@@orenJF Exactly. That's why pick-up or van conversions would be interesting. I find more flagrant vans being over inflated than pick-ups, since they look more abundant through Europe. And a pick-up, even a 2WD is way more robust and versatile.
@11:20 Reyt then, mate, just get a fuel or milwakee impact driver. That will loosen alot of your stubborn nuts.
Wish i had the money for a nice Touareg 😂
So far how much has the suspension work etc cost 🤔
Also is it the 3lt v6 engine, is it standard (what bhp) and are you remapping it
For costs, drop us an email to sales@darksidedevelopments.co.uk and it is the 3.0 V6, standard is 241hp and around 370lbs and remapped is 300hp and 500lbs/ft
Cheers
Are all touraeg, now coil sprung? Or are some still on bags?
No, some are still on air. Our other Escape has air on it

are you going to take the dust off the Arosa ? your European FWD diesel record was broken.
off road stuff is boring and you got famous for fast drag diesels ...
IT may come out again. Far too much going on with the race cars and other projects at the minute so
