Subhanallaah, Surely in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find comfort. Those who believe and do good, for them will be bliss and an honourable destination(13:28)
You don't have to do what the prophet exactly did in order to believe in what he did and asked us to do. What matters is that we all prostrate to the same God. We're all different as human beings, and it's more humane to accept our different habits and perceptions of things that were influenced by prior cultures and traditions of thousands of years.
