      Was a massive fan of his until people in the industry started calling him out for stealing line for line bars from a multitude of underground artists, those "freestyle one takes" he does is mostly other people's work. There are videos all over TH-cam exposing him and it sucks cause I genuinely thought the guy was amazing so it sucked to find out the truth.

    I'm so happy you're listening to Dax. He's been one of my favorite artists for a while now and I discovered him before he blew up so I've watched him grow as a person. The man is gifted but he also has been through some of the hardest struggles ever. I highly recommend next checking out his songs "Love Hurts" and "She Cheated Again". Even if you can't relate to the songs you can hear and almost feel the pain and suffering in his lyrics. It's truly heartbreaking.

    One of my favorite things about Dax is how open he is about his own personal issues with mental health, heartbreak and religion. Dear God is definitely a great starting point for you but the song that really made me a fan is I Don't Want Another Sorry. He digs deep into a relationship he was in that ended because of an affair between his girlfriend and his friend.

    I am glad you enjoyed this one. If you want another one with a different twist, Hopsin did a good one called "I'll Mind of Hopsin 7" in which he asks some deeper questions. My deconversion was rooted in the Bible itself. I don't talk about it much, but there were several issues that led me to question the Bible itself. I could fill multiple pages with the problems I had with the Bible. One of them is the language of domestic abuse rooted in the message of salvation or the modern teachings of hell being based on Greek mythology and the Norse realm of Niflheim.
    That being said, your willingness to hear us out is appreciated and I still enjoy watching. Btw, I am sorry I have been away. I have had a turbulent year but it was necessary. I am going back to the Appalachian Trail this winter with my dog. I will try to keep in touch while in town, but I cannot guarantee regular viewing. I wish you and yours the best over the course of the next 18 months. If you want to follow my trail journey, I will do my best to share videos here, though I will advise that I do age restrict the videos to avoid censorship of my use of language.

I was a heroin addict of 9+ years and didn't think I could quit but I had a child on the way I woke the next morning with no desire to do it I never felt sick or went through the withdrawal. How is that possible. Except for being granted a repreave I'm a proud dad of a 16 year old girl that's an honor student and never seen me hi how can that be without a god?

    Happy you got to Dax 😊💙. I think he's incredibly talented and definitely someone that comes with substance in most of his songs.
    I'm not going to get into the faith discussion lol cause I'm not religious or spiritual. But this song is really good and I'm sure many people of any faith (or none) can relate to the questions posed.
    I don't think you need to block out Dax's videos as he's independent. I don't believe he would copyright strike it or whatever happens on your end lol.
    Fun fact, Dax spent a lot of time living in my city (Ottawa, Canada). He's much younger than me, so definitely didn't cross paths with him lol. Maybe he'll come back some day.
    Not really a fun fact, but it is a fact.. Dax also lived on the east coast of Canada, where there were plenty stories of many priests sexually abusing children there (and across Canada). One priest from Nova Scotia abused more than 100 children. 😔 I don't know if that is something he was aware of when writing this, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

      @@Zacklystedt1993 where you think there is evidence, I think there is blindly following.. all the evidence I've seen is "look at the world around us" or "God creates miracles" (just the 2 that came to mind, i can probably find another 10 "proof" articles, all of which would easily be decoded as just how the world has evolved, or simple luck.) I call those things evolution and luck. Evidence is proof, proof is undeniable seeing. I cannot say I've ever seen any resemblance of proof, or anything close to proof. I've done the research, and came up empty handed. It'd take him to show his face to me for me to believe, because everything else that's been sold as "proof" is simply a blind and somewhat brainwashed following..
      That's just my opinion on the matter. And it'd take a "miracle" to change my mind.

      @@Zacklystedt1993 yes, I see that you think it's gods doing. I think it's recovery and rejuvenation. The human body has evolved to recover from traumatic injuries. Answer me this. Would you have survived without surgery? If you had survived without surgery, yes, I'd say that's proof. But doctors performed the surgery you went through a recovery program, you did the hard work, you recovered of your own free will, with the doctors help. Your body would have withered without the assistance of technology and inventions of science that aided in your recovery.
      But again, that doesn't prove anything.. it was human intervention and the human evolution recovery system that got you through it.. God didn't have doctors with the ability to perform surgery on the brain, and thus everyone with a TBI resulted in death. Now that humans intervene, it's a completely different matter, and there is a chance at survival.
      Though I am glad you survived. Congratulations on that. It is a massive feat to pull yourself out of such a rut.

    Please do apocalypse bc I wanna see you break that one down or any other song by dax bc this is good but cheesy and why his label dropped him, then he did "apocalypse" and that was like way better than this, but this is not a message to god its a message to his record label that dropped him he just doesn't realise it yet

    I've got another suggestion for you: Merkules - Reject
    From what I've been watching you react to, i have a feeling that you'll really like that song.
    Keep up your amazing journey through my favoite genre of music!

    Fairy tales and unicorns.
    All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

    • @larryshair
      @larryshair  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      lol, who made the Flying Spaghetti Monster??? Did he evolve from a puddle of pasta sauce? 🤣 No question, you are the result of a creator. Just funny (and sad) to have people overlook that very obvious conclusion. MUCH easier to believe in a creator than to believe that somewhere, someplace, life spontaneously came up on the scene. Not even to mention that life had to pop up with the ability to reproduce and "evolve" into a simple (not so simple) cell with DNA. To ignore God and give it up to chance that ignores all laws of physics (including the 2nd law of thermodynamics), THEN you can talk about Fairy Tales and Unicorns...

    • @bamfordsteele555
      @bamfordsteele555 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@larryshair Larry if I'm the result of a Creator no question, then who created the Creator? 🤣 ( nice try though)
      It IS sad that you seem to think you have all the answers.
      And the idea that it is MUCH easier to believe the way you believe is really kind of cowardly. It takes way more courage to live life with all of its ambiguity and uncertainty than it is to buy into the fairy tales for some easy answer because it makes you feel good and you're afraid of facing death without your security blankie.
      Again, really nice try Larry.

      @@bamfordsteele555 Is it often that you walk around with such a chip on your shoulder? It seems to me that you’re so offended by the notion of something that’s a fairytale that it must really sting somewhere.
      Of course I don’t have all the answers. Neither of us do. But if you want to look at the evidence and come up with a conclusion that seems a bit off base, that of course is your prerogative. Nobody created god, at least the true God. We as humans are very conditioned to see things from a vantage point that has a beginning and it’s hard for us to understand the fact that something may not have a beginning. For somebody that doesn’t believe in God, you really do come across pretty defensive. There’s something more going on there than meets the eye. It’s very interesting to me that a person like yourself can come to a conclusion that everything we see here on earth and in space were just chance. If you really think about it, do you really believe that? That all of the complexity of life evolved from happenstance? OK. Best of luck with that. I really hope that someday you give yourself the opportunity to really think things through. Really no need to reply. I know your stance. I’m really sorry for some of the things that must’ve happened to you in your life.

    • @bamfordsteele555
      @bamfordsteele555 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@larryshair wow! How incredibly condescending of you. And for you to say I don't need to reply... you just seem to want to get the last word in. I'm older than you and have been thinking about these issues for more years than you have. And you sound incredibly defensive. I've obviously touched a nerve for you here. Again, like I said, you're taking a cowardly position and are just afraid of facing death without your security blanket. Okay that's it for me. I'm out.
      If you really need to have the last word, go ahead, I promise I won't reply.
      P.S. I don't know, just a long shot here, but maybe the reason you're so salty about my response is because your children might read the responses and see that someone called you out for being a coward. I can see how that might be pretty embarrassing for you. Again, just a theory. Have a good life.
