Another great artist we lost way too soon! Man, Luther had such a gorgeous voice. BTW, he was known as the "Velvet Voice." Another of his songs I always liked was his cover of the Carpenters' song, "Superstar", and of course his "A House Is Not A Home." Speaking of that last one, you did a reaction to Barbra Streisand's "One Less Bell To Answer/A House Is Not A Home." I always wanted to hear Barbra and Luther do a duet. Man, that would have been smooth. BTW, I just left a comment on your other recent video about the new look of your room, and how I liked it. And I still do, but I gotta say, after seeing this look again back-to-back to the new one, I still like this one too. It has a real warm, cozy feel. Kinda of a struggling-artist's look to it with the single old-fashioned lamp in the background being the only source of that warm glow. But like you said on the other video, it's going to be these different backgrounds for awhile. So, I'll enjoy the change-ups!
The Velvet voice is a very fitting nickname. A duet with Barbra Streisand would have been amazing. I definitely liked the minimalistic look of this background too. The room now better divided into workspace/library than it was before. I had to flip it around 😅
Luther is one of the greatest. How on earth do you remember all the movies and the music played in rhe movies is absolutely beyond me. Luther = excellence. Tx again. Greetings from South Africa
Oh wow. Never expected great RnB from this era. Hope this starts trending with reactors because of this. Luther was amazing. So much great material. And very few on his level.
Luther had such a smooth beautiful voice and this was one of his best songs. Unfortunately he passed away way to soon. I recommend his duet with Mariah Carey years ago called Endless Love which was a cover originally done by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie.
My goodness, I'd forgotten how deeply and tenderly this song hits me. The past few years have been hard ones. So I haven't jammed much on my soft RnB. (Sitting here, hoping this won't make me cry. 😆)
Thanks for another great reaction! For another wonderful love song, I recommend the duet of Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn singing "If This World Were Mine" available on TH-cam at th-cam.com/video/19ugkjxvhYM/w-d-xo.html
Luther. ❤
My favorite Luther song is Dance With My Father.❤❤❤
Dance with My Father is another good Luther song.
Luther could just make you melt ♥
Oh yes! Completely.
Oh how I loved this song when it came out! I listened to it constantly.
My crush 💚 As cool as the flip side of my pillow
His phasing is out of this world 🎶🎵
I forgot how much I love his music, he definitely was a talented artist and could definitely sing a love song, he could sing anything!!
What a voice!
Lol this was played at my highschool prom back in 1990.

He did do hit duets with his musical inspiration and icon Dionne Warwick. He covered many of her songs, and her son David wrote this hit.
❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Another great voice 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
