Disneyland is truly where magic lives. We all know that in this life we have to create our own magic but Disneyland creates it for you 💫 I always fall under its enchantment and it’s a feeling that only exists there. I love every second of it when I’m there 🤗 Thank you Walt, you did it! 💗💜

The Disney movie”Pollyanna” was filmed in Napa Valley except for the house which was located in Santa Rosa. The Train Station was located in St Helena and the park and Gazebo were right across from the train station. Walt Disney loved visiting Napa Valley with one of his Disney animators and the family purchased Silverado Winery but it was just sold recently. They continue to have Mickey Mouse etched on certain wine bottles. When Diane Disney was still alive, she and her husband hosted lovely concerts at their winery.

As soon as I walk through those gates I leave the adult me outside, I always read the sign under the train , walk under the “bridge “ , and breath. There are times my eyes actually leak, it’s like opening the door in Wizard of Oz. All the stress in my body just leaves, the music , the smells, the atmosphere, that’s why it is Home. ❤️

Hi Chris! My top 5 Disneyland sound ideas are:
    1) Thunder Mountain whooshing by from the back pathway by the pond.
    2) The motors from the Jungle Cruise boats.
    3) Matterhorn wind (as you demonstrated).
    4) Mark Twain Riverboat whistle.
    5) The parrot on the island squawking in the Pirates queue.
BONUS - Thunder storm/rain sounds from Haunted Mansion queue in the area where the pictures change.
BONUS BONUS - Old man's banjo playing in the bayou scene of Pirates.
BONUS BONUS BONUS - The horn on the Mainstreet fire engine.

I call it “Disneylangic”. This is the feeling I get upon entering the park. I have traveled extensively, and no where else compares. The sounds I love:
The whistle on the Disneyland RR
The music that you hear walking past the Alice ride
The riders screams on Big Thunder Mtn.
    The whoosh of the Monorail.
    Great video, thanks. 💕

You're absolutely right, Chris; it feels so special to walk into Disneyland and look down Main Street and hear the music. I call it a magical feeling. Disney magic! It's a feeling that I think only Disney fans can understand. My non-Disney friends say I should grow up, but Walt created Disneyland for ALL ages! And besides, I'm a Disney child at heart and always will be! Can't wait to experience this during the holidays in December!
Yes, a Best Disney Sounds video would be so cool! Disney scents too if you haven't already done that.
    My favorite sounds at Disneyland:
    1. The entrance sound at the turnstiles
    2. Main Street vehicles & music
    3. Fantasyland tea cups ride
    4. Night time shows (World of Color, Fireworks, Fantasmic, parades)
    5. Walt Disney's voice
And just for fun, my favorite smells at Disneyland:
    1. Fresh churros
    2. Pirates of the Caribbean
    3. Main Street (always smells sweet, like freshly baked bead or cookies)
    4. Popcorn
    5. Candy shops
    Thanks for another fun video!

For me, I'd call that feeling nostalgia. I grew up in CA going to Disneyland constantly and was there opening day of DCA. Disney is home with many many memories. Every time you go you get that warm feeling of those memories and excitement to create more. Disneyland has changed but they, thankfully, have not changed so much where it is no long nostalgic. I think if Disneyland lost the nostalgia for people, they would lose a lot of guests. You go for the memories and to make new ones.

Totally agree, same. And I only went 6 times as a kid, until I started going a lot more in 2000 as an adult, making memories with my kids. Still, I don’t think it’s all nostalgia… Something else about it is transporting, & should happen even if it’s your first time. Just letting go of cares. I feel similarly driving out of town on vacation. Finally packed & gettin’ out! Cares just wash away, the fun is about to begin…

My favorite sounds are actually all on the railroad. I often get on there to rest my feet and close my eyes so in order to know which station I’m at without having to open my eyes, I listen for the sounds: Main Street music at MS station, Morse code at NOS station, Toontown music, and the engines of the Autopia cars. All very nostalgic sounds for me. ❤

We are three generations of Disney lovers and have been going for many years! There is nothing compares with the joy Walt was able to create, thankyou! If only he could see it now, the joy on peoples faces, the laughter and the sounds, the beauty of it all, and the feeling is simply put, like no other, its safe and innocent, and sweet, and charming and the memories made are irreplaceable.

The Matterhorn wind. The sound of the birds with the rushing whistle and clatter of the train next to the pond and Big Thunder Mountain. The chatter of morse code at the New Orleans Station and finally a newer one, the ambiant noises of Batuu!
Edit: as I continue to watch, so many more favourite sounds are coming to mind!! How can I choose? 😂

My favorite sounds are the bells from the vehicles on main street. Also the overall sound of the park when you first walk in which includes the soft music, the train sounds, the chatter the laughter, and the movement of all the beautiful strangers around. Those sounds reinforce the magical feels immediately upon walking in.

Looking forward the next ones as it sounds like you have exciting things planned!

The sounds I love hearing at the park is mixed. It's the music in the esplanade, the train sound, the clanking of the horse, yes the Matterhorn, whenever they made the popping sound of the gun on the Jungle ride, the sweet jingle sound at the Haunted Mansion during the Nightmare before Christmas while waiting in the queue, the Mark Twain, Thunder Mountain, Autopia, pirates, walking by the Peter Pan ride and I love listening to the Quartet sing and the Mary Poppin band play.

Favorite sounds. I love the sound of the Disneyland Railroad. The sounds the engines make, the whistle, the sounds of the steel wheels on the tracks, etc. Love to just ride it around the park, and then if I get lucky, when someone sits nearby and we start to talk.
The other sound I love, is to hear the joy and laughter of the people and especially kids having fun, be it on rides, or just enjoying themselves.
