When I first heard this song playing I couldn't stop the tears from flowing. I loved hearing this song as a kid. Over twenty years later I get to hear this song again. Thank you Pikmin.
It's just amazing how powerful this song is, how it can evoke something really deep within everyone of us and make us feel at home. Thank you for this little moment Pikmin 4
When i first heard this in pikmin 2, i was farming purple pikmin in sub level 8 and sometimes while waiting for the purple flowers to spawn them, i didn’t realize the “noises” are actually relaxing and as i farmed more i stopped and try to hear it very well and tried to ignore any other sounds in the cave and listen to the relaxing tone this music has on me. I never really got into its meaning and deepens until pikmin 4 at the last cave where the final boss is at. i don’t remember which sub level it was that i heard it but when i heard the music in this one, i realized that this is the same relaxing music that is in pikmin 2. I was very surprised and had some joy in my heart that they brought back some of the pikmin 2 soundtrack. anyways as i moved to the next sub level i think this is the moment where i really got to understand it and i am glad i did just that. I genuinely love the developers choices in this game and i hope more people play and appreciate this work of art. If your reading this right now, thank you so much. i don’t often comment a lot on youtube but for some reason i was tempted to write this whole paragraph just to get it off my mind and to also let others know what i think of this music and it’s beauty even if none asked, and i want you to keep on going in life, because you are doing great!and also never let anyone make you doubt about your dreams even if they seem possible or not possible. I hope you have a good night😀.
Seeing the Nirvana floor, after everything ive been throuh with this series, learning about it from Smash, watching Chuggaconroy's lets play for the first time, begging my uncle for 3 on Wii U... Its like... Pikmin 4's dungeons were way better than the randomly generated crapfest that 2's worst throws at you (Hole of Heroes) but over half of the ones in 2 give you this tranquil little garden to rest and reflect in... And 4 only has this one. How can you miss something that you never had in the first place?
Pikmin 2's dungeons were great and Hole of Heroes was one of the best, the random generation, enemies, and traps/hazards are all part of the fun honestly. Pikmin 4's dungeons were disappointing in comparison, too short and most were forgettable due to many of them sharing the same themes and not standing out (for example multiple metal themed dungeons and multiple tile/ice themed dungeons while Pikmin 2 only had one dungeon of each theme except the regular cave theme). After even my first playthrough I could remember every dungeon in Pikmin 2 while I could only remember about half of them in 4 after my first playthrough. While Pikmin 4 is my favourite Pikmin game, the dungeons were the one thing Pikmin 2 did WAY better. Maybe you should actually play the game before forming an opinion rather than just basing your opinions off of what you watched some random youtuber (who isn't even good at the game by the way) play, playing a game vs watching it are two very different experiences especially with very gameplay-focused games like Pikmin.
@CassiusStelar just to be clear I still liked Pikmin 4's dungeons too and I still prefer them to not having dungeons at all since dungeons are my favourite part of Pikmin games, I just vastly prefer 2's dungeons. In both games, there are no dungeons that I actually dislike but there were several in 4 that were just forgettable while there were almost none in 2 that were. Basically I think every dungeon in both games is "good" but there were a lot more "great" dungeons in 2 than in 4 although 4 had some "great" dungeons too just not as much as 2 did.
As scruffy and the offical posting of the pikmin soundtrack (like 500+ songs, kinda) showed us, every single enemy has their own sound, making this game have a music track that triggers upon seeing things. you have probably heard this laready from the clam enemy and the sci-fi sounding instrument
Hearing this come back was such a great surprise, albeit cuz it was literally the final part of the game. imo caves where the best part of both Pikmin 2 and Pikmin 4 kinda strange to me tho how you only had 2-3 of these in the whole game. But none of the other caves were long enough to need rest sublevels, plus you got that nifty return-to-any-sublevel feature. Tbh Pikmin 4 is easily the best one in the series for me, but if there is DLC I'm hoping for an extra area or something where they just go totally crazy with the caves lol
Yeah, I loved this game but I’m just a fan of the really long caves that you have to decide to dedicate yourself to doing while managing you resources/pikmin which was done really well in the last cave and it left me wanting a bit more because the last cave felt like it was at a point where the game would start getting really good but it was just the end of the game and it just left me wanting more
I agree so hard I would TOTALLY get a cave DLC! Because I also love the caves where they go ham but they only did that on the last one which was kinda sad but at least it finished on a good high note. I want more though…
I was so happy when I saw a rest floor in the final dungeon, with 4’s much smaller caves and the fact that you can just leave a cave whenever u want with your treasure, I thought there wouldn’t be rest floors, but I’m really happy
I just beat the game. When i got to this part I stared at the screen for a solid minute cause i had flashbacks of playing pikmin 2 when i was 6 during the summer. Never thought i would feel nostalgic and a bit emotional hearing it again.
This song really made me feel something. Genuinely one of the best pieces of music I’ve ever heard in 2 and I’m super happy it returned in 4. I luv Pikmin❤️
So glad they brought this track back in Pikmin 4, it’s so relaxing…

I literally got chills for like 2 minutes straight when I recognised what was playing
@@boltsy6525same here, easily one of, if not my favorite calm Nintendo track
Citation needed, bro. It hasn't even been 20 years since Pikmin 2 released. It's close (19 years since release), but not OVER 20 years.

Wish there were more rest sublevels just to here this.
it was a very nice surprise so late in the game

I love that they brought this back, pleasant surprise considering the majority of floors used the same ambient track.
takes me far back in time, and to think i was listening to the original all year. this is beautiful.
Finally this masterpiece. Really thank you ❤
Omg thank u so much ive been waiting for someone to post a complete version of this!!!

of all the things I expected them to take from pikmin 2. not this.
Really nice near the end.
its not the same without the spectralid track playing in the background
hits different with the running water ngl
Would’ve been great to sleep to if there was no mid rolls
