This is not the best comment. The stated 0-to-60 mph time of the 2017 Macan Turbo with Performance Package is 4.2 w/ Sport Chrono, not 3.7-3.8. The regular Macan Turbo is 4.6 (4.4 with Sport Chrono.)
No push button start, ok but not so special interior, is kind of a downer for more than $100k can for me, though the engine and 4.2 secs 0-100km is a winner for me.
It may be exclusive when it comes to performance but in terms of design, this 100k turbo can easily be mistaken for a 50k base model Macan. There’s nothing about the interior and exterior of this car that makes you think it’s pushing 100k. Still think the Macan is one of the most elegant small SUVs you can buy, but at this price range I think buyers will expect more in terms of design.
Macan S styling looks like an 80k vehicle to begin with. It simply oozes beauty and pedigree. So to pay 100k for performance upgrades has nothing to do with looks.
Why would a person pay more for design?? That makes zero sense. You pay more for options, not for a front air damn that hardly does anything. An option is a bigger motor....
Helmut Von Porsche would be proud of this offering, especially in stunning cerulean, but I still think I'd take a Buick Enclave and use the cash savings for a downpayment on a helicopter or hovercraft 3.75 zeppelins out of 5

To make a similarly ridiculous comparison, lets compare a 911 and a Ford Explorer. The Ford seats more people, has way more cargo space, ground clearance, etc and is way cheaper than the Porsche. The seats are even more comfortable! Can you believe a 911 can't even tow a boat? Why would anyone buy a 911? All sarcasm aside, If you want a luxury suv with a lot of advanced safety features buy a Volvo or a Benz, if you want a driver-focused, high performance car, then go for the Porsche. I mean you're reviewing the Turbo with performance package??? Do you really think those buyers want lane keep assist?
I don't understand why they make such a so called 100K SUV when the interior is average to say the most, no off-road capabilities, and small cargo space. Most buyers in this segment don't care about 0-60 mph rating anyway. Bad marketing.

I can attest it’s as good as you say. The 2020 thru 2021 with PSE has an even better exhaust note despite the smaller displacement engine

For one thing, 10% more power is not going to improve acceleration by 15%. Use your brain.

That key or no push button, is one of the reason it is not that easy for this car to be stolen by thief with scanner

That's half the point...the top performance version doesn't mean you want stupid over the top styling like what you see in most AMG cars for instance.

Hey Steve. This SUV seems like a boat load of fun for sure. However, pricing is kind of ridiculous especially with that interior design.
alfa stelvio quadrafoglio base price of 79k 0-60 in 3.9 and top speed 177mph with a ferrari based motor.... ya id take the alfa!

It's an option to have a panoramic sunroof or included if you get the Premium Plus package...this particular one was not even close to fully equipped.
