But that isn't for now, I am not even old enough to drive yet (I already do), and I want to get an e36 first. I would probably keep that kouki and the e36 forever, and have a shitty daily driver that I would change when it gets too old. Edit: I was expecting a lot from life back then lmao Now I'm much more sensible and realistic about life goals and cars.

The easy part of taking the differential is over, now comes the very very hard part of putting it back together right without screwing up the crush washers and stuff like that. Best of luck to you Kyle👍
Hopefully your pinion gear depth doesn't go array like mine did in my SN95, wasn't placed correctly and had incredible shaft wobble so I had it sent off to a shop. The process is a very simple concept and could be done, *it's just I don't the tools or experience to measure in thousandths at a time* Best of luck in your ventures, Kyle.
I'd install a spool. I want NSD(no-slip-diff), but I won't weld it, coz it goes out of weight balance, and can end up diff bearings, create vibrations. Lathe machined solid peace of billet aluminum is pretty well balanced (lathe is to make round and balanced things) it free up the space in diff, increase power to weight ratio, also i track locked ones 😊
Saabkyle04 it's a solid carrier that doesn't allow axle differentiation and they can't disengage basically like a welded diff but it is the correct way. Mainly used in drag racing

I really like the original ones, might just have them refurbished unless I can find a good set of seats that would still be comfortable for a daily driver.

My 1999 infiniti I 30 T with the VQ 30 motor had a quafe limited slip differential helical type in the front.

R32 GTR seats! Matches the color scheme of the car as well.
Agreed on sticking with those original seats. To me, they are part of the character of the 240.
