Hey everyone, quick update! I have a press drive I'm attending for the first half of next week so my plan is to get the 240 aligned when I get back at the end of the week, pending weather of course. Thanks for watching!
i'm just curious. How much money have you spent on all the work done to this car? Im not talking like: "You could buy better car with this money spent", im just curious how much money compared to wehicle base price is put to this day. Thanks :)
I really don't know the exact amount (probably for the best at this point haha), but to give you an idea, the brakes alone cost as much as the car did. It'll be such a special car when it's done, but to do it at the level I'm going for, it hasn't been cheap. I should do a video on it at some point haha.
Omg that whole underside is really looking great Kyle! I really like how much attention to detail you're putting into the build here. Definitely one of my favorite restoration projects on TH-cam right now, keep up the great work man!!
Right now you could say its a handling sleeper with the only indication of its performance being the lower height and wheels. Once you put the RB in it its gonna be a beast.
Faaaarrrrkkk man when you set it down and it set i was in love never liked the wheel choice but now it looks amazing by far the best series on youtube right now congrats man
when a car from the 80s has a better looking under carriage than most brand new sport cars. I bet you can point the wheels in any direction and that thing will go there.
Ive seen several of your videos show up on the recommend feed, but never really paid attention to it. This video was by far my fist video of yours i actually watched and wow, you sure do know your stuff! Good job , Kyle im defnitely going to sub and look at more videos, hopefully i can get to your level of knowledge one day haha
Nice job on your rear end rebuild! There are different size torque wrenches available (1/4, 3/8, 1/2, etc ) I've run into similar clearance problems in the past when torquing bolts to spec. My 3/8" toque wrench can torque up to 80 ft lbs.
Looks awesome, Kyle! Been quietly tracking this series from the start - but this video is the best one you've done yet! Looking forward to the 240's maiden voyage! :)
You talked about the bushings on the ISR arms being torn, those are simply rubber dust shields, those arms have spherical bearings like SPL arms, albeit much lower quality.
Why did it take you so long to start making videos for the 240sx?! Chris said about 1 whole year ago you would make videos for it and it took 1 year to finally upload a video with the 240. Although it took you much longer than it should I'm still happy to finally seeing the 240 again :-D
Just got into your channel! I have a ‘90 s13 and am venturing into the same sort of suspension/subframe rebuilds. I’m curious about where you got the torque specifications for all the hardware you replace.

Hey Kyle! I think this is one of the best videos you've ever done. Good work!
Thank you!!!

This is hands down the cleanest 240 i've ever seen
As good as new or even better.
Kyle is like a surgeon. I work the same way. Very organized, neat, thinking of longevity, dealing with systems, not parts.
Thank you!
Those wheels look so gorgeous on your 240 especially with that color
Love your attention to detail with using a torque wrench and marking torqued fasteners.
The channel that made me a car enthusiast.
I've been watching this Guy since I was in the six grade and I graduated last year. so yeah he's one of my favorites 😊
Awesome video as always Kyle will never stop watching 💪🏼👍🏻

My favorite projecton TH-cam. It's fun wrenching vicariously through you, Kyle. Looking forward to seeig it on the road after all this work.

That installation is so difficult, but fun at the same time! It's definitely worth the work.
Good job!
Cant wait to see you driving it. This series will make anyone want to roll up their sleeves ad mod their car
the inspiration is real!
This car is gonna handle so good
I always find the 240 videos really satisfying
You should consider publishing parts lists! I know that'd take a ton of effort but it'd be pretty useful for folks rebuilding their S13s.
Looks great Kyle. Attention to detail pays off in the end. Great Work!
It's a beautiful project car and an amazing project itself. Congratulations Kyle.
Everything just looks so clean and nice! Gaaah. Its like you wanna drive it but never wanna drive it 😬😬😬😬. So excited for you.
Right now you could say its a handling sleeper with the only indication of its performance being the lower height and wheels. Once you put the RB in it its gonna be a beast.
You and Tommyfyeah have the best builds.
Faaaarrrrkkk man when you set it down and it set i was in love never liked the wheel choice but now it looks amazing by far the best series on youtube right now congrats man
I'm pretty jealous you can do this all by yourself , great and interesting vid Kyle 👍
Thanks bud! It hasn't been without struggles, but I enjoy the challenge of learning how to do all of this :)
You're welcome , that car will be basically brand new , enjoy it a lot to see how you make progress 👍
I think you might end up with one of the best driving 240s in the nation. I can't even imagine how much that thing is worth.
Great video of your suspension rebuild! You are always very thorough!
Looks good man!!! Can't wait to c a driving review
I'm glad that you did a collaboration with chrissfix. That's how I find your channel :D. Btw can't wait to see you drive this baby.
Awesome Video Series Kyle! This Car is so well done!

Hey Kyle,
Your build is top notch
When you are done with it you should take it to The Jay Leno’s garage
Go all the way dude. You've come so far and looks awesome.
Thanks pal!
This car is so clean
Thank you!
Cant wait to see the end result!!!!!
Making great progress brother
The table scratch lives on! Haha nother great video!

COOL Rebuilding The Rear Suspension & Installing Custom Axles: 240SX Restomod Ep.21
SO satisfying!
Thank you!!
I do need to save for a set of those lifts sometime.
Cool rebuild!!! Video was awsome!!
Looks awesome, Kyle! Been quietly tracking this series from the start - but this video is the best one you've done yet! Looking forward to the 240's maiden voyage! :)
Thank you so much!!
You're welcome... dang, I'm shocked to have actually gotten a response! ^_^;
Safe travels and clear horizons, Saabkyle. :)
Great videos !
very good informative information thank you for sharing this video
Looks good Kyle!!!!
those wheels look sick!!
Man, it took me forever to find the "right" wheels for this car! They're TE37SLs, 17X9 +22. They have a timeless look to them for sure!
Saabkyle04 aw I love those wheels
You need to take this to Hoonigans for a build biology when this is done!
Sounds awesome!
I love these vids Kyle, great work!
Nice!! Lovin' this series!!
Thanks Robert!
You talked about the bushings on the ISR arms being torn, those are simply rubber dust shields, those arms have spherical bearings like SPL arms, albeit much lower quality.

clocking bushings is what its called when you torque them while the car is on the ground
Ohhh, I didn't know that, thanks bud!

OMG, SO SHINY.
When you are done take all the episodes and put them together
My friend was telling me to do that the other day haha, that would be such a long video haha
Saabkyle04 I will watch it. Seen every video and will see them again
1:55 Genius!
I was going to buy ISR Parts for my 240sx but seeing kyle attack them here pretty much idk if i should lmfao
Just got into your channel! I have a ‘90 s13 and am venturing into the same sort of suspension/subframe rebuilds. I’m curious about where you got the torque specifications for all the hardware you replace.
Amazing
Those teflon/self lubricating bushings you installed in the hub, do they come with dust booths or doesn't any sand or water damage them?
DAMN! That rear toe was WAY out when you set the car down.
50th view, I cannot wait to see the engine swap!
Can you do a startup on the 2018 Toyota Tacoma please
What, I expected a month for the next upload of this series😭😭
Hahaha I heard that! XD
Better then factory
Have you ever looked in too rear bumpsteer?
Where did you get the polymer bushings for the rear lower control arms?
Hi Kyle, what did you use for wheel well undercoating/paint?
