Hi, cool review with actual examples. I am likely going to get the 35mm, you mention that it is "okay" comparing the 35mm and 40mm, how big of a difference would you say there is? Please let me know you thoughts.
Yay, when I saw a Mijonju video, it made my day. The pictures look fantastic and that lens is tack sharp. Also, surprised seeing you using a digital camera haha. Keep up the great work and hope to see more videos from you.
Love your mobile handle what is it? Brand wise. Also I am looking to find a great Voigtlander lens for my sony a7r2 to get as close to Leica POP and micro contrast as possible. These photos looked great, do you have any suggestions?
I'm always waiting for your new video, this time it a little bit long from last time. But , it's worth to wait for it, great video and great pictures(and also great lens). I really like it !!!
I recently saw this video and I am a big fan of your work looking through your Flickr stream. I loved how the shoot came out. Would you highly recommend voigtlander lens? If so, which one, 35mm or 40mm?
I’m considering this lens for my a7iii with techartpro since it does give me eyeaf on the md minoltas!.... Since I’m short in money would need to sell the zeiss 35 2.8 :(. Would be a bad movement?
How's the vignetting of this lens on the a7? Got any sample pics? I'm thinking about picking this lens up. Been looking at voigtlander 35mm 1.2, 40mm 1.4, and the 50mm 1.5.
I really enjoyed the photography and post from these images! rad photographer and im way more enthused on this voigtlander now, did u ever end up getting the close focus?
do you also use the 40 mil for walk around ? and probably also landscape / travel photography?....if yes , how is it? I am debating between 35 mm and 40 mm now..
What's the sync speed on the strobes with the song a7?? I'm about to get some, but I don't know if the camera is up for it (for the looks on this video, its more then capable...)
When I want to lower the MFD of my M42 adapted lenses (to Canon or my mirrorless) I'll just add a washer between the lens and adapter. The only camera I hated not having close focus was my 6x6 TLR but I recently picked up a M645/RB67 combo and holy s#|t those Mamiyas focus close.
MovieVision i realise when I render it, the track was replaced by the BGM but uploading another one is gonna remove everyone's comments so I'll let it be.
have you ever shot the A7 while wearing glasses? I find it impossible, the sensor can't tell whether to choose the viewfinder or the LCD screen. Without glasses it works perfectly, but I'm so blind it makes it a hassle not to wear glasses.
It's great to see new Mijonju Show in my sub feed after a long day at work :) How does the 40mm compare with the 35mm SC? I've been saving up for the 35mm for while now and may get it next pay day.
Its more like what your needs are right? I needed minimum distortion, and get as close to the subject as possible. but also wanted to shoot with a standard focal, so something between a 35 and a 50 is perfect, just a few steps back and forth, here comes the part i dont need in the studio the f1.4 part. cos im using strobe. but when I go on the streets with the lens I can shoot at 1.4 around noon time, so to me, for my needs its very versatile, 1 lens, great size (small) and does everything.
Hi Mr Mijonju Very interesting video. I have a question If you change the aperture on the lens to for example 2.0, does the A7 also "know" that the lens is set at 2.0 Or do you also have to "set" it on the A7? Regards Etienne
Ok, i know you are a badass hipster and all that. But you know what i`m talking about. The colour correcting you do on the videoes that makes it look like a filter from instagram. Sorry for bad english.

Really like your shoots. What is the brand name of your adapter with close-up function? I am looking for an adapter for my VM lenses. Thanks!
Great photos! Just ordered the lens, very excited!
another warrior with the 40mm!
:) I'm really starting to like this lens on my A7RII
Stunning model with stunning results.
Uniden agree
This I like. Reviews about cameras is fun, interesting and all. but here we can see your photos which is more interesting than only camera talk IMO.

I love everything you do man! please upload more! hope I can meet you next year when I go to Tokyo!
Always great videos ! That lens is amazing
Joe Saunders was a good combination :) close focus was not that hard with the cheap adapter
have you tried it with any other lenses ?
Really good photos dude.
Learn couple new things from this episode.
Beautiful shots!!
I recently saw this video and I am a big fan of your work looking through your Flickr stream. I loved how the shoot came out. Would you highly recommend voigtlander lens? If so, which one, 35mm or 40mm?
Cool, and pictures came out good,
A creative person is able to use all lenses,
and it is here, to see.
FoxKoit It was a good combination :)
Michel Jones combination, with or without,
no,no.....
I think he's just creative, this is the key.
Nice photos, really good ones.
Sergio Denis thank you!

Zeno Watson was having fun :)
Lovely work man, keep at it hope to get close to that level of work some day,
Jeremie Plourde nah just keep shooting, there's no levels, you just learn and be it :)
Thanks Mijoshow il remember that, got to start shooting more often again.

sweet vid, mijonju! what up keiichi!
Awesome video due :)! Can you(or anyone else who might know) the link from where you bought your close-up adapter? Thanks :)
Very cool vid, Please do a vid about the Sony A7 and your preferences with it! You used Nikon gear previously right
Jedilost1 actually all sorts, nikon, canon, sony, olympus, panasonic, no preference, it's all about the lenses..
what do you like about the Sony lenses? Do you still shoot with all those other digital systems now as well
What's the sync speed on the strobes with the song a7?? I'm about to get some, but I don't know if the camera is up for it (for the looks on this video, its more then capable...)
Great episode!
gonna cop a vintage lens for my 5D classic

AlexCoronaPhoto bellllooooooowwwwwwsssss
Did your iPhone-Mic actually work when you where holding it? It sounds like you had to use the in-camera sound anyways.
MovieVision i realise when I render it, the track was replaced by the BGM but uploading another one is gonna remove everyone's comments so I'll let it be.
You don't check your renderings before uploading them?^^ Or do you have some fancy software that uploads your video right out of your timeline?
MovieVision Ya I had my premiere upload after render and I was off to work
I see.
I need help! I can't decide which is better between the (Voigtlander 40mm f1.4 + Rokinon 14mm f2.8) or (sigma 18-35 1.8 art ).

Glad to see you again :) Hmmm, actually what are noticeable differences between the MC and SC version of the lens?
Glad to see you back. Which flash trigger did you use?
Beautiful video as always,
Very curious, what do i ask for when getting a hair cut to make my hair like yours and what to do to maintain it ;"D
Zhemin Lin hahaha lots of alcohol drinking.
Great vidéo ! What's the soundtrack in background ?
Loïc J. Jimi Hendrix: All along the watchtower
What does the close up lens do make 40mm a macro?
A little bit of sticky tape on where it mounts would fix up the wobbly lens issues.
Wow, is there a link where i can see the photos from the shoot?
Awesome vid bro! Love the shirt! lol
thaAMAZINess no game no life!
what's the name of the close focus adapter you used in this vid? does amazon sell it?
what wireless trigger were you using there? i've been trying to find one that works well with my A7. Do you use HSS?
great video, as always! don't wait too long to post another one ;)
How close you're able to shoot without getting distortion with that adapter?
Awesome pics
iloper thanks !!!!
It's great to see new Mijonju Show in my sub feed after a long day at work :)
How does the 40mm compare with the 35mm SC? I've been saving up for the 35mm for while now and may get it next pay day.
Neeamuthkhan I think the best 35mm from Voigtlander is the 35mm f1.7.
Voigtlander 40 1.4? Isn't this lens soft?
Wich 50 u mean? The f1.5 or 1.1? And why it is Horror?
Sorry, maybe I missed it but what camera are you using? I think I saw it say Sony
Hi I'm just curious. Is the voice recording mic you used on the iPhone working? Because it kind of sound like its recorded by the video camera.
JoeTong Tee My MIC track was replace by the background while editing, it was an error... guess i'll fix it soon
What flash trigger are you using?
I was waiting your video
I like your hat man!!
I like my Voightlander 50mm 1.1, but I hear only bad things about it, so I guess I'll be real amazed by the 40.

More please!

hey really miss your videos man :D , cheers !!
What's wrong with the audio?
It's been 5 years and you never replied to anyone about the close up adapter, what one did you use?
There's probably better ones out there now, I got a brand less one from eBay.
@@Mijonju Ah cool, so it really doesn't matter that much which one :) Thank you!
ur still amazing!
nice lens

Lancelot Yang wonder when season 2 is coming out?
Your English accent is very very familiar... sounds like your pinoy.

Please... NO MORE FILTERS!!!
What filters?
The filter you put over your video`s.
+Carl Gunnar Engeland Andersen the one on my Instagram? Which version? My Instagram is @mijonju_official by the way, thanks for supporting ;)
Ok, i know you are a badass hipster and all that. But you know what i`m talking about. The colour correcting you do on the videoes that makes it look like a filter from instagram. Sorry for bad english.
