I liked how you referred to your plant as a beast, in a complimentary way of course. In this case it is beauty is the beast instead of beauty and the beast. Excellent video and thanks.

Okay, this is great!❤ Suggestion for your next propagation experiment....you should dawn a lab coat and professor glasses, place the plant species chart screenshot, and give a test at the end🪴🔬🌿🤓 Kidding of course😂 The classroom was definitely in session today📕🧑‍🔬👩‍💻🪴

The first time I ever w my own eyes looked at a scindapsus I was amazed by the shimmer of the leaves. Did some reading about the silver shimmer. Instantly fell in love. At the time not so inexpensive sometimes at all. To say the least. Some still are but I had/having the best time hunting w out getting too far from budget. 😂 Sadly a few years ago I had to stop purchasing unrooted cuttings. Not the best or if any luck getting them to root. Love them just as much. Too late to say long story short so I'll just say thank you. After watching just part 3 I'll try again. ❤❤🌱🌱❤️❤️ SUBSCRIBED

Thank you for taking the time to do a thorough substrate propping experiment, not just a couple weeks and then write off a substrate.
Fluval Stratum has been my go to as well for about 6 months now. I don’t know what it is about perlite but it hates me and rots everything I try to prop in it ha
My Hoyas and scindapsus love Fluval.
I tried a combo mix for wet sticks and they have taken off… coco coir, perlite and fluval in a prop box.

Love the look of the jade satin! Great experiment. I didn’t expect the perlite to not do as well. The only scindapsis I have is an exotica and it is growing so well that I don’t want to cut the vines but I also want a fuller plant. Such a quandary. The trellis is so cute.

Hello Melissa from Puerto Rico!!! I did the same experiment except the Fluval which is new. I mixed moss and perlite and moistened it at the beginning. Didn’t touch it for 2 months. Very few rotted. I did pot them up recently and look fuller. Most of my plants were pothos. 🙋🏼‍♀️🪴💚🐩 I did like the lecca props with water and little superthrive.
