Haven’t seen the whole vid yet, but the snake design is BEAUTIFUL! I think the Snake Skirmisher is a perfect name! Ooh, just thought of an idea, what about a window on the walls of a room so you can see into the next one before entering, so you can strategise a plan! May be quite hard to make though
personally I like Penumbra Tower, I think it's a name that fits well with the game's genre. the tower evokes floors to climb (therefore rooms to overcome), so I think it works. but a name more related to the fact that the character is a frog might make it clearer or stand out, if that's the goal
I really prefer the new rat looks great And yeah I think you could drop the tower part if you leave the rooms through a door it's not really giving the tower idea anyway like you'd have to show some kinda stairs or something otherwise it seems more like a labyrinth or castle
I think it might be neat if the enemies' names were shortened to just their title, as long as the animal started with the same letter of their title. For example "rogue" instead of "rat rogue." Not alnowledging that these are animals and not normal human soldiers could be a neat choice
Being able to move in the grid after the battle is over show some potencial to implement other things, like chests that could be opened after defeating every enemy in a range of turns, chests that could only be opened during combat, or other interactable things. The game is looking very good so far, keep the good work!
I have a suggestion for something, could you make a level system or some way for you and your enemies to get stronger because just seeing all of this power put into an attack dealing 1 to 3 damage is kind of underwhelming.

You should name the snake Rattleslit (because of the blade). Also, I don’t know how you make this art so good. Love it!

yes, this will probably be one of the main things i will be working on soon
weapons should give unique attack patterns like the enemies to add more strategy
