I put a set of these on my 2000 Jeep XJ a couple years ago. They made me happy and are holding up well.
These work pretty good :)
thinking about getting Monomax shocks for my 2000 Nissan Xterra
At the end of the video I like how they have a sound of air tools of professional auto mechanics, they should also have a sound of hand tools clanking, ratcheting, and birds chirping in the background of home DIYers immediately following. lol
Would these be good for a Ford Bronco? I mainly drive on highway and occasionally some light off-roading.
Could they be used for Car applications
bad acting, but you can tell a pair of experts when you see one. I thought you guys were funny lol
Keep up the good work fellas!
Why do my shock boots look droopy and jiggly? They're new pro cromp pro runners shocks by the way.
Are these gas shocks????
Explain the foreign instructions that come with the monomax shocks???
I’ve looked at 15 of your videos,
But yet to find any that cover the foreign printed , hard to follow instructions to extend the shaft or cylinder??
I just unboxed mine and the instructions are extremely lacking!!😡
would these be a good match for a 96 explorer with the monroe coil helpers in the back? Looking to reduce any body roll.
Hi alb,
While a good quality shock such as these will help control body roll, a better choice may be a sway bar kit such as this… www.summitracing.com/parts/hel-7648/overview/
Looking to control body roll on a 2" lowered 2004 Chevy Blazer 4wd . These the right shocks for me?
RossBoss90,
Yes! Great choice!!
Do you make anything for a lifted application
David KYB makes shocks for most stock & lifted applications. if your application is not listed , removal of your current shock for measurement may be required to get the proper shock length. Thanks for watching !
Would these shocks be good for my diesel f250? I use my truck for load and offroad
+Diesel Truck Enthusiast,
This is from the KYB website:
Purpose: Maximum control for trucks and SUVs - for the most demanding conditions
• The right choice for hauling, towing, or plowing
• The best performer for heavier loads or off-road use
• Perfect for diesel trucks
• Applications for light trucks, vans, and SUVs, including some lifted and lowered vehicles
Good for drag racing, does it limit axle wrap upon acceleration?
Hi Ricardo,
These are a good all-around performance shock and not specific to drag racing. They will not prevent axle wrap. Depending on the vehicle you would want to look into a traction bar or caltracs to control axle wrap.
@@SummitRacing great thanks but I might go with qa1 single adjustable to get my desire ride goal
lol, he's looking less to the left in this one...
lol... Funny how that works.
