- This is a day trip to two Crash Landing on You film locations in Switzerland on our 4th day in our Switzerland travel Vlog 2022. This is a Korean drama film that is very popular. Switzerland is a beautiful country and these two Crash Landing on You film locations have very picturesque scenery. Starting off with Iseltwald, a beautiful village along Lake Brienz, in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. The location itself is a perfect destination even if you are not a CLOY fan. Then the second location is the Sigriswil bridge.
Our Vlog will show you how to get to these two locations. We took the Lake Thun boat cruise from Interlaken, and it was very relaxing, and enjoyable boat ride. There are so many more beautiful locations of CLOY that is featured in our Vlog in Switzerland particularly during our first day (Interlaken), 2nd (Top of Europe), 3rd day (Schilthorn), and coming up, our Zurich Vlog.

hello! first of all, thank you for watching, and thank you for your question. We were there last two weeks of March. We arrived Switzerland March 20th, and our supposed return flight to the US was March 28, but then had an unexpected extended stay. Line was tested positive for Covid without any symptoms. You will know more about that, our mistakes and what you can learn from us in our last Switzerland video. going back to your question about the month, not sure if you want to know about the weather but I will tell you here I had reservations of traveling to Switzerland in March because of the weather, it might be cold and rainy, and I envisioned the Alps with all the green vegetation so my plan was to go in July, but I did not regret, it turned out to be a comfortable temperature with sunny weather. I guess we were just fortunate because the weather after March 28 was rain almost everyday, although not the whole day. There was even a forecast of snow, but there was no snow in Zurich. sure , it was Hotel Bernerhof. in Interlaken. it is probably a chain hotel since aside from Interlaken there is also one in Grindelwald, and if I was not mistaken, there's another one in Gstaad, and in Kandersteg.

What month did you visit ? 61 deg seems very nice. Do you still wear your jacket?
we went there the last two weeks of March when Spring just started. I have second thoughts traveling in March because of the weather but our friends is available in March only. but we were lucky because of the sunny weather with no rain. yes we still wear winter jacket because it's colder in early morning. then in the afternoon, we remove our jacket because of the very nice temp. so just dress in layers. but the following week when we were supposed to leave it was raining almost everyday in Zurich and there were forecast for snow although it didn't happen. I said "that week when we were supposed to depart " Switzerland back to the US because Line had to self isolate because she was positive for Covid. this was before the Covid restrictions were lifted. I'm sorry I was not able to respond quickly. I was out of town. have a great weekend!

I asked TripAdvisor about the best way to see the filming sites of CLOY. I was surprised at the response of their Experts, discouraging us from proceeding. Several area experts said the Asians have ruined the small town of Iseltwald and the landing site at lake Brienz. Now the local government started imposing fees and installed turnstile to control the crowd. I told our party of six seniors but they still wish to see some of the sites. Would you pls help us determine which sites we should see and how to avoid adding to the crowds? Many thanks for your advice.
@@renatosio60 it's going to be really crowded in the Summer, and less crowd in the shoulder season. But even in March with only 10 people ahead of us in line to get to the docked where the piano was in the film scene, we waited because some people takes.so many photos for different poses🤣🤣but we understand, and we were willing to wait. we travel to enjoy, and brought our patience, and understanding, and not let negativity ruin our trip. for us, as long as we have some snacks and water, and a public comfort room, we are fine. and there is a public comfort room in Iseltwald. I think it will be Iseltwald and Sigriswil Bridge that will be very crowded. So if you are already booked for summer, then go to all those places if you can just go the earliest possible time before it even opens if there is already a turnstile. because you need to go to these places very early, you need to stay in Interlaken. one day for Iseltwald and Sigriswil, follow my vlog. then another day to First (film location) after that you can explore other beautiful areas in the jungfrau not a CLOY film location but worth your time. so from First to to Mannlichen then Wengen to Lauterbrunnen. follow my vlog about Schilthorn to get to First but do not go to Schilthorn stop at Lauterbrunnen. going to Schilthorn made it a very long day, because Schilthorn is really way up there, and risk for altitude sickness. If you don't go to Schilthorn, you have enough time to enjoy Lauterbrunnen. on the day you arrive in Interlaken go to the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel, follow my vlog on our first day in switzerland. So you have 3 nights in Interlaken. But if you really want to go to Top of Europe, you can add another day. and take the first trip to the top of europe or Jungfrauyoch. you also get a discount for the early bird or first trip. also risk for altitude sickness, at the top of europe so drink enough water, bring enough water bottle. if you are in Lucerne, you take a day trip to Lake Lungern. If you are in Zurich, you have two film locations there, at Lindenhof, and at the bridge near Grussmunster Church. follow our Vlog in Zurich and Lucerne. Hope this helps.

Coming from Lucerne we are thinking of taking the train to brienz where we plan to take the boat around the lake. We shall not go down on Iseltwald so as not to add to the crowds. We will just take photos from the boat.
At Geissbach we plan to go down have snacks or lunch at Geissbach Grand hotel depending on the time then catch the boat to interlaken ost.
Take the bus to Victoria grand hotel as per your video. If time permits we plan to go to Harder Kulm.

sure! it's Hotel Bernerhof Interlaken. If ever you choose this hotel, just make sure it's Interlaken because there are also Hotel Bernerhof in Grindelwald, and other places in Switzerland.
