- In this video, I show you the Swiss designed Coffee B machine, that aims to compete with Nespresso, and without all the waste of capsules. These biodegradable balls are made simply of coffee, and an algae based wafer like outer shell - so, these can just be tossed in your garden for compost or fertilizer! Plus, the machine heats up and goes to standby quickly, so it also saves on energy. But how does the coffee made by these balls taste? Let's find out!

I am waiting for when you will make a short espresso… but anyway - thank you for Rrreveiew ❣️
it is a pity that the outside ball coating is paper and not chocolate :)
Reusable pods make much more sense as you can use whatever coffee you prefer
Hi, nice video, but you are wrong about the weight...it should be 5gr of coffee, the external surface of the ball provided with the coating is not part of the ground coffe to brew.
I don't know - that membrane seems super light, I don't know if it weighs 1 gram.
I drilled a small hole under the basket like in the old videos and bought a non-pressurised basket, but either way it gives coffee very fast and no crema. I can't find the reason can you help me Tom ?
I think it might be because I use pre ground coffee.
There seems to be a problem in the degree of grinding. I use lavazza crema e gusto
Hello there! Yes, your beans are probably too old - or in other words roasted too long ago.

I wonder how much of that coffee that comes out first is retention from the previous extraction - I did not hear a flush cycle. Also the start of the first extraction was milky water, I would be concerned about additional chemicals from the balls leaching into the coffee. Also, the fact that the balls have a coffee smell to them must mean that coffee volatiles are being lost and the balls are staling pretty fast.
I think on the first extraction that the waterways needed to be primed. From there on out, it pretty much goes right to the extraction from the beginning. The balls are wrapped in a sealed container of 9 balls. So probably decent freshness at least until they are unwrapped. I still think it's a nicer solution than the Nespresso capsules. Cheers!
The "milky" water is just a lot of bubbles caused by the pressure. If you wait a little they will disappear
What did it cost, Tom? And how much are the balls?
Haha, my wife called me up and said, "hey there's a new coffee machine with balls for just 20 euros at the grocery store. Should I get it?" I said, "heck yeah you should!"
True story. I think they're banking on the sale of the balls, and not aiming to make anything on the machine itself. I think 9 balls cost 3 euros.
I dont know man....
There are too many jokes about balls in my head
Tell me about it...I had to behave on this one. ;)
looks like a miss and a hit machine , probably needs design improvement especially with the rotating ball holder makes no sense if you can drop directly from hand hah.
The carousel does seem to be superfluous indeed.
how much was it ? if its good on pocket then its a good deal.@@TomsCoffeeCorner
Guess, what...
How to Grind Coffee beans to coffeepowder.
The machine/Tool is a circular one.
Logic next step...
By supporting the circular movement of the coffee powder, we also support its liveliness and vital quality. Chemically and analytically, the coffee powder remains the same, but its internal cohesion, the cluster structure and the energy potential change fundamentally.
All Aromas extracted perfectly...
If you prefer "rotary" over "circular" ...
Instant coffee? Nothing traditional:\
