very nice ending, it almost makes you want to repeat the inquisition with a female character.... too bad the rest of the game is subject to the choices of the devs
My favorite part is definitely his side-eye towards Lavellan after he starts walking away... Does he wish she would come with him, but he won't dare to ask? Does he think in that moment, as Weekes said, that he is not deserving of her love? Does he think this is the last time they will see each other? I mean, he would visit her in the dreams, wouldn't he. I still wonder how big is that prison. Solas has a goal of soothing the Blight. Can Lavellan even help him in this? It seems like he banishes himself there, does that mean they will never leave that place? Solas can visit people in their dreams, but Lavellan is not a dreamer. That can seem... lonely if he's the only person she will ever see again. I still don't understand the specifics of their situation.

It was a relief to see that after 10 years, Solas still longingly loved Lavellan. In the letter we find by him, he states "My feelings will never change."
@@GeorgiaWhitehead Yes, it can be found in the Codexes under the Miscellaneous section, it is titled Notes from the Inquisition (or something like that). On a somewhat related note. I wish they would have let us customize the inquisitors outfit. I just don’t like the pajama look 😅. Or maybe it’s canon that they’re unfashionable.
I'm trying to convince myself that the Inquisitor's more Southern Thedas-styled outfit would have attracted too much attention and it was easier to disguise him/her as another Shadow Dragon to get smuggled in and out since the Inquisitor has an old friend with connections to the Shadow Dragons (trying to keep it as non-spoilery as possible). Still dislike it though. 😅
You sleep in a fitted long sleeve & skinny jeans? Because that's basically what she's wearing. Tge DAI "PJs" were always misunderstood, as they were gambeson, medieval quilted armor that could be worn as light armor. It was worn under chainmail or plate. They're not unfashionable. They're just not your inaccurate view of pre-1700s history.
Another note, i quite amaze at you can exactly create your inquisitor same as the one on previous games, that really brought another good chemistry indeed.
Im actually glad veilguard didnt manage to ruin this lmao. Although I do know most of us still kinda wished for one or two more scenes of back and forth somewhere in between the middle and middle-end of the game. Also as a long time dragon age fan this seemed like a middle finger for morrigan playthroughs lmao
I honestly think they did a little he literally had more chemistry with rook in this game the Inquisitor was like an npc and her love felt so one sided it was just not good in my own opinion
@@erelan5994 I think terrible is too strong. It's good enough that I finished it with 70+ hours and enjoyed it for the most part. Definitely not Bioware's best game but I think it's worth forming your own opinion if you want to give it a go.
A lot of people are not liking this game. Which makes it so I really hate admitting this but so far I’m really enjoying it. I will say this though if you really loved inquisition, you will probably like this game. I feel like a lot of peoples main complaint is the agenda stuff they are trying to push and the fact that this game doesn’t follow dragon age origins and dragon age 2 very well but I think it’s doing a decent job so far following inquisition. Of course the game in my opinion has beautiful graphics, graphics are my kryptonite. If a game has good graphics I’ll play it doesn’t matter how terrible it is. I’ll love it. I will say this though if you have steam you’re allowed to play a game for two hours before you have to return it in order to get your money back. Just start a timer for one hour and 30 minutes test out for yourself if you don’t like it just return it then you can test out for yourself if it is a good game for you.
I never romance Solas when I play Lavellan. I always romance Collin because I feel actually chemistry with Collin. Immediately remembered the end of Tresspasser when ppl who chose romance option with him screamed "WHY CAN'T WE BETRAY EVERYONE AND LEAVE WITH HIM?" 😁 Still a no-no from bioware
When he said Vhenan after not seeing her for 10 years, I freaking bawled. Because after all this time... he loved her still..
Probably one of the few parts of the game that didn't suck.
@@roguejester4986Still sucked it was all out totally random
"LEMME DESTROY DA- oh hi Eve Iam good guy now"

While my feelings on Veilguard are mixed, there is a lot I like. And the parallels to Trespasser are going to be the death of me holy fuck.
I think it was a well deserved ending for the inquisitor and Solas romance
@karinamoon6175 this ending for DA:V is the ONLY ending that matters imo.

elves got shafted in Veilguard. They are just short humans with pointy ears..
