- We spread manure very lightly across the hay ground to disperse a pile that has been adding up!

How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a TH-cam channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

Loved seeing the barn cat get a little too curious lol
Yup, still some of the best cinematography from all the Ag-Tubers.
Thanks Ryan and Hannah. It was nice seeing Hannah all prettied up. That poor kitty almost got foddered to death.
It's great seeing the 4020 out in the fields!
lol the cat in the bottom righthand corner at 8:08
Yeah I saw the barn kitty and thought oh no🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great video Ryan and Hannah❤
That old spreader holds up pretty nice😉👍 great video again, cool to see the 4020 in action👍👍
I'm impressed the muck spreader is still running since you said years ago that it was on its last legs!
Great job Hannah and Ryan👌👍🙏😎
4:27 thats absolutely beautiful
Looking good! I love the drone shots, really great video! The lovely Hannah going from the pretty lady to the right hand with the wrap is awesome! It's good to see that AGCO didn't screw up the great spreaders when they bought New Idea, still slings a good pattern of 💩! Biggest problem with manure on alfalfa is the weed issue, but if have RR alfalfa you can knock them back.👍👍
Still loving this channel after I don't know how many years. 8? I don't know. I came "late" to the party. Either way, still very happy for you and the Mrs, and I am glad to see that she still has a little time to help out around the farm
Boy, this brings back memories. I use to fly around on our skid loader to load the manure spreader. Thanks to my older brother showing me the trix 🤣
Hey Ryan it's nice to see Hannah
Lights look great
Great video Ryan. Love to see the 4020 out in the field.
Ryan, The corn really looks nice!
Thanks for the update Ryan and Hannah, take care and have a great upcoming week 👍
Thanks to your videos I know how farms in the US work. 👍🏻
Greetings from the Netherlands
Thanks for the video. Who knew flying poo could be so cinematic 🙂
Thanks Ryan and Hannah
One more time showing that the work is never done on a farm. Always something else to do and only so many hours in a day. And or course, interject the weather into the equation and all of your plans go out the window. Thanks for sharing, always enjoy your videos. Great to see Hannah! Take care & stay safe.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Great to see you getting stuff done. Was surprised to not see the JCB, hope all is well with it. Amazed to see the spreader still getting the job done. Was almost pondering if you traded the JCB for a newer yet similar spreader. Wishing you and your family the best.
Nice to see you back making vids. Showing some great farm life stuff !!
Ryan I like them over 40/20 that's how I first learned to drive a tractor I was 10 years old from Gary
Just in time. I hope you plan more farmer grade loads.
Haven't watched it all yet but leaving a comment now... Hello.. hope you're keeping well.? Keep the great video work going.. stay safe 🏴
The old equipment works as good as when it was made.
Another 4020 video, I love it!:)
Another good video Ryan. Thanks
thank you
Nice shots
Hey Ryan!! The old spreader keeps hanging in there.
Hi I am all the way from South Africa, I really enjoy watching your videos. I have watched every single video of yours I have just caught up now to the latest video posted. I am really inspired by the videos that you have been putting out great job and keep it up. I too come from a farm background growing up on a farm, the feeling of accomplishment is what puts farming in its own league. I am not sure if you Have heard of the H2-A programme that allows you to hire seasonal help from select countries. Maybe look into that and see if it will help you. I am also trying to use some agencies in South Africa to get seasonal employment on USA farms through the H2-A programme.
The poop spreader made it another day
Do you think you will get another cutting of hay this year?
I'm courious if ya thought of building some kind of bunker for dry maure so ya don't always have to spread it to get rid of it
Good video
Great Video Ryan, the 4020 is great so is the fertility locked up in the manure, just saying, I don't have any answers
FIX THE PTO SHIELD...
LOL! I just figured out that you are saying "BullSHED."
🤣🤣
7th gear in a Syncro Range?!? And I thought today's tillage speeds were insane 🚜 😂
After the previous high-tech drone spraying video, this is the other end of the scale. 😂
Old-school kit chucking lumps of natural fertiliser around in a rather uneven distribution, but I’m sure it works and the manure has to be got rid of somehow!
Hey Ryan and Hannah, Ryan corn is coming along nicely. Hope the manure helps the hay ground. Didn't you say the John Deere 4020 was a 100HP tractor? Take care, Take it Easy and Trust JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the shiite was flying inn wi
Who flung doo ?😂
Cuánto por el campo jajajaja
