While I wait for the 55* dovetail cutters to arrive, I finish mapping out the wear in the table and saddle -- and tackle the gib. Follow along as I try to get more life out of an old grinder.
It’s crazy you’ve been here for 9 yrs on this channel. I’m shocked to see these videos again after such a long time. Watching your videos now compared to then is crazy awesome.
Fantastic set of videos. I like others find your creative use of measuring devices inspirational. You have an amazing way of explaining your thought process. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
I have learned quite a bit about measuring, and enjoy your explanations. Thank you. I look forward to the coming video programs and want you to know that the previous videos are very good, too.
You can tell this is not Tony's normal comfort zone as he's totally serious and no comedy. I miss the comedy but its nice to how serious he takes things he does. Big fan.
Wow, this was back when the channel was called This Young Tony.

Japanese dial indicator, Italian surface plate, German lighter fluid, American blueing... I love how international your kit is. :)
Future 'This Old Tony', you will have more subscribers than you EVER believed. Congrats!!
a surface grinder would make getting those high spots out of the dovetail super easy

Far from being boring, this is really fascinating -- at least to me.
This is where This Young Tony’s voice changed into what he sounds like today. He’s a late bloomer, but I think he’s growing into a fine young man.

Before This Old Tony was good, he was great.
Great video, just love to see old machines brought back on line. Thumbs up.
You are a patient Man, I'll give that to you. 👍🙄
I always knew that you are a very talented machinist but that you have patience that much????? that’s remarkable. My little Old Chinese mill is
Be happy you used the magnetic chuck although it could have had some wear in it aswell. Usually thin straight pieces tend to go bananas when machined.
Oh that pipe wrench got me busting up laughing.
