Even if you tank it doesnt mean you automatically get the number 1 pick, unless they changed something i havent heard. I mean a play in team ended up with the number 1 pick this year, so it doesnt automatically mean you will get the 1.
We’re not doing that tanking 💩, how bout we stay healthy & see where we stand in the east! We beat Boston last yr without the whole roster, let’s be winners, Flagg is a good player but not worth another losing season. We never get #1 pick anyway, like ever!

I’m sick of this tank talk. I’m a ten year season ticket holder (real sicko). It’s time to start a winning culture and you don’t do that by tanking. Plus as has been said even if you are the worst team you only have a 14% chance of getting number 1. Why is this fact so difficult to understand?
Top 5 SG for Brandon is gonna be tough. Cuz as it stands the top 5 in no particular order for me are Anthony Edwards, Jaylen Brown (he plays SF, but he’s a SG), Donovan Mitchell, Devin Booker, and Desmond Bane. If Brandon wants to get into the top 5 he’s good become a force on offense and defense. He might not ever be better than Edwards and Brown, but those other 3 aren’t great defenders.
Our own history, in addition to Detroit's recent history, shows there's no guarantee of a #1 pick, and it's not worth tanking. It might have been once in Charlotte that we've gotten a #1 pick in 36 years. At that, we were edged out on Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis.
I'm hoping the starting lineup is lamelo, B-Miller, Bridges,Tidjane Salaun,Big Mark Williams💯 cause we a young growing team so I rather deal with the growing pains now and at the same time get a top 10 pick Jus sayin💯

I think we should trade for Rui Hachimura. If Im correct, we can get seventeen under the cap to sign him, even with Miles. Would probably have to be part a three team trade, though.

We can't any longer be a team that considers tanking. Management will make good decisions, allow our talent to grow...add pieces as we go....and shoot for the top. Thats my hope. Cannot accept being the laughing stock of the league any longer. That means our fans and media has to change the "we have been sorry and thats all we can be" mentality as well.

Yes but we were ahead of them in the standings. The Hornets and the Warriors both had the same record but we had a better +/- so we should have gotten the trophy.

There's no way we shouldn't tank. If we make the playoffs, we lose the pick for a first round exit. Shoot for 30 wins, take your lottery spot, and keep your pick. Top 14 protected
i’m honestly surprised that you guys semi approve B Miller playing in SL. He shouldn’t be playing at all. Not only injuries but he was literally first team all rookie. He has nothing to prove so why put him out there? prepare for the actual meaningful season we need him for

When you tank you stunt the growth of young players, and these young players need as many live reps as they can get. Nothing beats live action in a professional setting. I hate tanking . You never tank.

We Drafted a 4 who is supposed to have the talent we draft another 4 and a top 10 pick when we jus did that this yr that would be our GM made a dumb move so I can't see him as in Jeff Peterson undermining his self to be honest with his first DRAFT! JUS SAYIN!💯

I do think it would be a fun question though--- Would you rather tank and get a top 3 pick next draft or make the play in as a seventh seed (two home games needing one win to advance to the playoffs)?
I'll answer my own question to start. I'd take the 7th seed with a shot at the playoffs every time.

Can’t believe I’m going to say this but Doug has me backtracking on tanking. Winning culture is what matters. Draft where we are and develop them. Great players show up everywhere.
Focus on player development >>> Lose on purpose to POSSIBLY get a high draft pick.
