    Great Video !!! if detailing for the first time on a car and I need to basically do the whole thing.. foam wash, clay etc... I would want to apply a ceramic spray after the clay... would the sequence be... clay, ceramic spray, jet seal then wax?

    Sorry but I have to disagree. Unless I received a defective product, because mine did not last at all. I did a half CG Jet Seal and half Wolfgang paint sealant 2.0. I think Wolfgang was a bit better then CG. Personally, Jescar Power Lock Plus is the best sealant I have ever used, and still using it till this day. Just my opinion.

    • @wilsonautodetailing

      @Jonathan Larios Jesscar Power Lock is the best I have used along with Collinte 845. One other combo I use is and got 8 months out of is Polish Angels Master Sealant along with their Polish Angel Rapid wax but its a bit more pricey though.

  • @fernandoarno52
    @fernandoarno52 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello.
    It looks like it doesn't change the car's paint color like other sealers do, but it does seem to add another bright transparent layer.
    Is it just my impression? My car is silver metallic gray and I hate wax or sealant that change natural color. Can you confirm my impressions and recommend this product to me? I live near the sea and car paint suffers, I used the Meguiars Ultimate, but I don't like it because the paint color of the car changes and the duration is short.
    Thanks for clarifications.

      Yes you always put the product that has a longer duration first. So if your sealant lasts 12 months and wax lasts 2 months, sealant gets applied first and then you can add a spray wax on top to give some extra shine.

    • @butskiiueepp1625
      @butskiiueepp1625 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MM-ln1jv typically when the water starts sheeting rather than beading is an indicator that there’s no longer a layer of protection. However, certain sealants , ceramic coatings have been known to “clog” just from surface level dirt. To know if you still have protection- just use a good ph balanced car shampoo without any waxes in it. After the hand wash spray water on it to see if there’s still sheeting. If there is - time to re apply a layer of protection.

    • @samuelougrah4874
      @samuelougrah4874 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Generally speaking a Sealant is your base layer of protection and its like the foundational layer so you should build on it. So say you were to use something like Jet Seal you can then follow it up with another product like P&S Bead Maker or another wax. A great combo for Jet Seal is Jet Seal followed by Meguiars Carnuba Paste Wax followed by either Bead Maker or their Hybrid Ceramic Wax both give exceptional gloss and crazy hydrophobic properties. Anyways to answer your question I would definitely strip it

    jetseal really isnt the best, the actual longevity and chemical resistance is just mediocre. I would say that the upside of jetseal is that it can be applied to just about anything without issues and can easily carry layers on top. The downside is that its hard to buff off and chemical resistance isnt the greatest. In fact jet seal should be topped up with a wax or spray sealant as jet seal doesnt provide much gloss. it looks a bit odd without a top layer. they probs do speak the truth when they say that it comes from the aero industry as they probs arent too bothered with looks.

I'm sure that's what chemical guys are getting at but they don't want to limit their customer base so so you can apply it by hand and machine.
