How come i cannot get mine to idle ? Sliding the lever to the right, still revs high, even set the governor as per manual wot with shaft lever rotated clockwise
Have you checked the idle screw on the carburetor. It is possible that it is turned all the way out and not in. If that does not help take the carburetor bowl off and see if fuel drips or flows it should be a steady stream not a drip. Or you could disconnect your low oil sensor and see if that changes anything.
@@mgdlawncare2351 I ended up selling the engine, original owner had it in a go-cart, he put a tube in the plastic phenolic spacer between engine and carburetor, I install aftermarket carburetor and install new phenolic spacer.
I found one on amazon. I can’t remember which one, but it has worked great. There are plenty of options for this carb on Amazon, Ebay, and other websites. Hope this helps
