I remember my 10 year old self tearfully putting the phone down at the end of another tech support call trying to get this game to work on my computer and my Dad assuring me we'd take the game back to the store and get a better one.
That was 25 years ago. This has been worth the wait.
A ton of remakes made by full game studios wish they were this good, phenomenal job!

It’s a great time for Lego fans to be alive. Rock Raiders was one of the few games my gaming siblings and I have gotten our mom to play. All four of us adored the original Rock Raiders, and this labor of love looks amazing!

@@Klavvy Reporting in after finishing the remastered campaign. A superb experience start to finish. I loved all the new mechanics required to finish the levels. The shanty at the end was awesome. I have to be be up for work in 6 hours and it was worth it. Starting Baz's campaign tomorrow and can't wait 😀

This is without a doubt, the greatest remake of a game i ever played. Its exactly how i remembered the game, but in 4k widescreen. Critical hit on the rating! 12/10
It's fantastic, great nostalgia bomb. Crew editor is amazing, I remade half of minifigures I had as a kid, I didn't know I remember them. When I first played the game I didn't speak english so I finished like 4 or 5 missions without understanding what's going on so it feels great to finally tackle the old business.

Beeing an adault now, Rock Raiders is still my favorite Lego-Series and the Game will always have that one special place in my heart.

The fact that the vast majority of this game is just coded by one guy in only 4 years from scratch is *insane.* No joke, you genuinely have some serious talent, and seeing a game like Rock Raiders of all the Lego titles being remade is something I never thought I would see anytime soon. You should be very proud. You turned a charmingly alright game into a game that most people who have any interest in RTS games should play at least once. I mean seriously, given all the circumstances, there's a dedicated level editor and community? You gotta be kidding…
*11/10, somebody needs to make more remakes/sequels to other old pre-Tt Lego games like this please.*

i remember going on walks after school while it was winter and everything was covered in snow. coming back home and having tea while playing the original game on the family pc is what i remember this game for. thanks for going above and beyond on this remake and letting us take part in the journey.

I literally bought a laptop and a physical version of rock raiders on amazon just to play it again. Couldnt figure out how to install it correctly, thought all hope was lost. Thank you so much for this. This is the game that brought me into the love of gaming the past 30 years

I've been dying to replay all the Lego games from my childhood. Lego racers 1 & 2, Lego Island 1&2, and above all else, Lego Rock Raiders. I still remember how excited I was to get my first rock raiders Lego set and to get this game.

I didn't realize how much I had missed playing this game until I tried it. This is what a Remaster should be. not only bringing the game up to date but also improving on its concept and adding what should have been there in the first place. I love it! truly worthy of being a Lego game. Lego should pay you imo.

Every now and then I would think back to this game and the regret I never finished it. I was and still am a huge LEGO enthusiast, and this weird game and LEGO set was gnawing at me. Several tries to play the old game always failed - but today I finally finished the game! Dear heavens, this remake went above and beyond in every way! What a fantastic job and attention to details! Thousand thanks from Addis Ababa, I am one happy grown-up that is kinda high on pure joy and nostalgia :D
I'm so glad to see the full release come out! I tried playing one of the experimental builds a year or so ago and was blown away by how well done this fan-made remake was. Major kudos to you for reinvigorating the Rock Raiders community with this gem!
