Air France and klm are both a game of luck. You can either get the newest generation of seats or a seat from the 2000s…

My god, you are so unlucky. you flew on one of the last AIr France 777-300ER equiped with the old seats generation. The cabin is at least 8 to 10 years. Now new seats are much better and the cabin is more elegant.

Haha thank you! Yeah pretty unlucky. They pulled the old switcharoo. It was originally supposed to be a 777-200 but then when I saw it changed to the 300ER I got so excited, until I walked on the plane… first world problems!

@@samandnick we flew that cabin/seat from CDG to BKK last year (March 2023) but it was a super cheap upgrade from premium economy offered during online check-in. We knew exactly what we were paying to upgrade to but it was well worth it as we got great sleep, service and food on an 11hr flight. We were so full we couldn't eat the dessert. However it has spoiled me and I only want to fly BC for long haul now! Booked in for KLM and AF next year - KLM out and AF back. Hopefully both in the brand new seats so will be interesting to compare.

@@troubleonmac Once you fly BC once... it's hard to move backwards. Now I do whatever I can in my power to fly BC on long haul...

Great attention to detail in your comparisons of airlines. This is really helpful for travelers with flight options!
As always, the maps are so helpful - Nick's nonstop flight Amsterdam-Bogota makes sense now that I see the map. Great filming, that must have been a challenge doing it alone in those small spaces! And it looks like you DID eat and drink through the night, Samantha - love how you maximized the experience!!
    Excellent video.

I love those ghetto seats when I fly with my family. I can keep an eye on my kids.

Please work on your pronunciation!! It's not Air Freeeeence! Please!!!!! Even if you are Americans you should show respect to other countries languages and their pronunciations!

You act like when you go to USA you will speak 100% like the Americans . There’s this thing called accent. Even within America there’s 100s of them. Infact I’d love to hear you speak American english, you will probably show mad no-respect with your heavy pronunciation. Rubbish.
