The differences between KLM and SAS is that KLM is a full service airline, while SAS is more of a hybrid between low-cost and full service. It's somewhere in the middle. One plus with SAS is that you can buy youth tickets for a very cheap price, around 50-70 dollars for short haul flights, depending on how long your flight is. My personal favorite is SAS, as it's the airline i've flown my entire life.
I've been flying every 3 months to the USA for work with KLM. At first I went with regular economy class, which was great, good service, good seats, very comfy, skilled pilots, etc. But that was on a bigger airplane than you flew, like the cityhopper. Great video, but something to keep in mind, the KLM was the cityhopper it has no recline, basic seats and less padding. The KLM Cityhooper is used for short flight and it’s a short haul aircraft. On the other hand SAS has the larger plane, used for longer services therefore better seats and padding and other stuff. KLM does offer short haul on larger planes like the 737 which is similar size to the a320 you were on on SAS, the old and the new cabin of KLM in the 737, 700, 800 and the 900 would I say it’s kinda the same as SAS’s seats. The old cabin of KLM 737 is like the SAS cabin on the a320. It would be a little more fair if you did the 737 for KLM, so therefore I would say KLM won. Just a little piece of advice maybe that i've seen a few times already in the comments. Since this is a comparison, i think it might be better to review the same route. This way the pricing is an exact representation. Also this would mean that KLM uses a B737 for the route between Amsterdam en Copenhagen, which is a more similar plane to the a320 SAS uses than the Embraer E175 you took from KLM. All in all I did really enjoy the video so keep it up ❤
I'm from Sweden and have flown with both SAS and KLM, and also with Lufthansa (when it comes to the giants we have in Europe) I've flown long haul with them all. With SAS I've flown Stockholm to Chicago and Copenhagen-Shanghai (both ways), with Lufthansa I've flown Los Angeles to Frankfurt and Frankfurt-Shanghai (both ways) and with KLM I've flown Shiphol-Shanghai (both ways) I've also flown short haul with SAS and Lufthansa that were not to or from connections to the long hauls above. I honestly like all of them, they're all great airlines imo and I've always felt welcome and well cared for on the flights. When I flew with Lufthansa to Shanghai, I was a solo traveler and the flight attendants were super sweet and making sure I had everything I needed (and this was in economy, on a 747!) The downside for me with Lufthansa is that you often connect in Frankfurt and that airport in my experience is hell with very little to see and do, and very long distances. Schiphol on the other hand is giving very cozy vibes and there's a lot to see and do between flights. My layovers there made it by far my favorite connection airport in Europe, so that gives a big bonus for KLM for me. Flight itself good as well. SAS can be very convenient as a Scandinavian since it's "our" airline, and a huge bonus in my book is that they use Airbus a lot for long haul (at least that was the case when I flew with them) and I much prefer Airbus over Boeing any day of the week (and that's been my stance for over 20 years now, so not something that changed with all Boeing disasters in recent years...) My long hauls with KLM and Lufthansa has both been in 747, with SAS it was an Airbus both to USA and to and from China. Airbus is far superior when it comes to comfort! For flights to my long haul connections, it's been KLM or Lufthansa flown by SAS if I remember it right, so essentially mixed crew or two airlines working together in one flight however you want to put it. Either way, very good experience with them all. I'm more than happy to fly with either airline tbh. They've all been very pleasant to fly with both on shorter and longer flights, so the main thing I look at if booking a flight is prices and travel times. I'll basically go with the least expensive option that has acceptable travel times, so I won't for example book a flight with say 12h layover somewhere if there's an option to have direct flight without it costing too much extra, or there's an option with 2-4h layover. If flying within Europe, I prefer no layover if going between big cities. I'd for example never book a flight from Gothenburg to Amsterdam via London or Paris, I simply have no reason to take the detour past London or Paris!
Just flew with KLM on their cityhopper from Schiphol back home to Arlanda and it was a smooth experience. Very comparable to SAS in my opinion, although I prefer SAS because they’re the swedish local flight operator (even though they’re no longer owned by the swedish state).
My experience with SAS has been amazing, the food on fligt tastes great imo especislly for being airplane food. The toilet is always clean and usually theres minimal delays

If you and when you come back to the states, you should definitely take a flight on American or Delta down to TPA from JFK or EWR!
Could you please do TUI vs Jet2 , TUI is belgiums best airline and Jet2 is supposed to be the UK's best airline, in my opinion its TUI , i've flown TUI with my family for like 6-7 years and i'm also belgian so it would mean alot if you would do this ❤
TUI isn’t actually one airline, it’s several different ones operating under the TUI name and livery. The largest of them is TUI Airways (formerly Thomsonfly) so if he were to fly with TUI it’d likely be with them.
Did you know there’s an airport with an delta lounge that has an outdoor seating!
KLM's deadly incident is Flight 4805, who is crashed at Pan Am 747.
Unnecessarily…

To show support for Israel, fly with El El, the safest and most secure airline in the world (and regardless, it's a great airline). 🇮🇱❤

I have flown before with my parents to Slovakia but that was when i was really young. By the way, can you please do Norwegian Air Sweden in one of your videos?

I think you flew KLM cityhopper wich is the more low cost service airline of KLM. I think you should try to fly the real KLM on long-haul service, but actually a great video
EVERY TIME “Right of the bat” 😂😂
You should try West Jet's first class It's awesome I recommend row 4.
nice video Eric can you fly next time with czech airlines and smartwings to see which is better because its too airlines from czech repuplic and im from czech repuplic and i want to know which is better
Klm has a 2 by 2 seating bcs the model you flight on it was an airbus 220 and sas have 3 by 3 bcs sas has a bigger plane a320neo
All in all I did really enjoy the video so keep it up ❤
Merry Christmas
I love 😍 sas it is so good ❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊 you should fly it
I’m in Istanbul I’m heading back to Barcelona with KLM on a 737-8 tomorrow
Edit: I think is a 737-8 idk there are so many 737 models lmao
I'm from Sweden and have flown with both SAS and KLM, and also with Lufthansa (when it comes to the giants we have in Europe)
I've flown long haul with them all. With SAS I've flown Stockholm to Chicago and Copenhagen-Shanghai (both ways), with Lufthansa I've flown Los Angeles to Frankfurt and Frankfurt-Shanghai (both ways) and with KLM I've flown Shiphol-Shanghai (both ways)
I've also flown short haul with SAS and Lufthansa that were not to or from connections to the long hauls above.
SAS can be very convenient as a Scandinavian since it's "our" airline, and a huge bonus in my book is that they use Airbus a lot for long haul (at least that was the case when I flew with them) and I much prefer Airbus over Boeing any day of the week (and that's been my stance for over 20 years now, so not something that changed with all Boeing disasters in recent years...)
My long hauls with KLM and Lufthansa has both been in 747, with SAS it was an Airbus both to USA and to and from China.
You should fly to bend Oregon on Alaska airlines E175
You should fly KLM off-camera, just in case somebody acts nice for the camera so the airline gets more customers
Best Chanel eveeer
😊❤🎉😊
I Love Flying KLM Long Haul And The Great Cabin Crew.Great Report
My experience with SAS has been amazing, the food on fligt tastes great imo especislly for being airplane food. The toilet is always clean and usually theres minimal delays
