@@negativedawn136 they have their arguments, but he still loves her a lot, as shown in every book they have at least one meaningful conversation in. its a very realistic couple, and the fandom doesnt seem to understand that.
before i end this comment i just want to thank you for allowing me to have an opinion on the matter. its been a while since ive talked to someone about this that doesnt immediately call me an abuse apologist or an abuser myself (which i feel i should state that i am not)
@@aveen8769 I do agree that he loves her, and shows it in most books, except for squirrelflights hope which is a mess. They still fight a lot though. But I will always respect opinions about fictional characters because, well, they’re fictional.
@@negativedawn136 and I thank you for that. You just have to remember every relationship has fights, its natural. usually not big ones, though i admit squilf and bramble fight slightly more than usual, but its normally just slight bickering like the old couple they are.
Can we agree that Squilf's Hope shouldn't exist in the series? (and Spottedleafs Heart, but that is irrelevant to the conversation)

The scene where the imposter confronted Squirrelflight at the Moonpool was genuinely scary for me. The way that even *she* was scared after being nothing but brave the whole time...
To say nothing of how she ended up in cat hell with no one but her crazy ex.

0:34 there are headcanons that squirrelflight intentionally gained weight to look pregnant when the three were born. looks like she hasn't found the time to slim back down. her dad's a former kittypet, so getting fat easily kinda makes sense
