Squirrelflight is one of my favorite characters in the books, and in my opinion was treated very wrong by her children, Brambleclaw, and everyone around her, she didn't deserve their treatment, and she stayed strong during the times of abandonment

This is fucking beautiful!! It's so emotional and heartbreaking/warming! My absolute favorite thing about it is that it's completly canon compliant, It feels as if i'm watching a playback of what I was thinking during the books. It's absolutely flawless.

Gosh this almost brought tears to my eyes, what an amazing work of art. This is just beautiful. I’ve never been that invested in Squirrelflight as a character but, lately the community’s depictions of her like this have been changing my mind and making me reflect a bit more. So much pain, adore it.

This is so sad but yet so good 😭 I love the 3 but it kills me how they treat squirrel after all she's done. (And bramble) Like she truly loved them and they just disowned her.
Coming back to this a few months later and this still makes me cry. Squirrelflight had gone through so much. She went from being a headstrong apprentice to a hard working cat. It's hard to think that so many people will still go out of their way to treat her like garbage. People also forget that she was forced into taking in those kits by StarClan themselves. And then they turn around and say she's the villain for helping Leafpool break the code nonsense. And I want to state this if anyone thinks I'm making her out to be perfect, I'm not. She has her flaws, but she makes up for it. Her relationship with Brambleclaw should have been just a sibling relationship. I would have preferred that.
This was beautiful and I loved every scene. The emotions were caught beautifully and you made it flow PERFECTLY storywise with Ashfur and Hollyleaf. Amazing job

Squirrelflight’s story is so sad, and the thing is that squirrelflight might’ve actually been able to have a happy life if leafpool hadn’t dumped her problems onto her poor sister, because she couldn’t handle them herself.
I mean to be fair it’s natural to go to a close loved one when you’re freaking out..and starclan itself dumped her problems on squirrelflight without her having a word about it, starclan is seriously the big bad in this situation
I'll be honest, not enough videos about Squirrelflight and her family just falling to pieces over a jealous tom. It just seems super overlooked, at least in comparison to all the ones about the tom that ruined her happiness for a long time. Granted, she was a jerk to him, but I doubt it warranted enough to ruin multiple lives, not just hers.
@@foxygrin If I remember right, she dumped Bramblefur for a while and showed interest in Ashfur. I think she only did that so Bramblefur would get jealous, and this was for a period of like a couple weeks. She then dumped Ashfur and went back to Bramble since she missed being with him.

Squirrelflight made it bluntly obvious she wasn't happy with her and brambles relationship and if you DO actually pay attention to the dialog, Bramble does treat squirrel flight like a troubled kit instead of a mate at times
