I know it's a video game, but Arti story is still one of a mother who lost her kids because kids are kids. Is it justified of her to kill scavs because of the this? No But will others sympathize with her? *Yes.*

I'd say her anger is completely justified, and it's understandable why she'd want to kill the scavengers afterwards. Not saying it's justified, just understandable.
This shows how vengful artificer is and how battle torn it really is, going from pristene red slugcat coat to a darker more worn and torn pelt with many scars
This was fantastic. The montage with the karma decreasing and Pebbles giving Artificer her final task was a wonderful capstone to the tragic anger of her story.
If it helps! Before I painted this frame black, the spear actually only bruised the child. I maaaay have made it worse by wanting to add impact, woooops (Also hello! Your Karma animation is a big inspiration for this one, love it!)
The escape into memories and dreams, the longing for days gone, the pain and wrath. You did a phenomenal work capturing and enhancing all these things and more from Artificers campaign. My only criticism/complaint would be the sorrow filling my heart currently.
I really love how strong the communities form around fantastic indie games are. It brings me just as much joy hopping on to the internet to see fan art like this as the games themselves.
I had tears in my eyes thorough the video. The tragedy, sorrow of the loss and neverending cycle of violence without the ability to come back to normal. That's what I felt in Artificer's campaign - mixed up feelings of sorrow and anger. It's all here at once. Adding Five Pebbles who gives a task for Artificer that leads him to the bloodthirsty ending is a very, very precise touch in the end. They both have something... unfortunate in them. That's what I needed. Thank you.
I feel like Pebbles and Arti reflect and oppose eachother. Arti is tied to her cycles by violence, whilst Pebbles' only goal is to cut the strings to his own existence, but they can both resonate.

Explosive abilities, an unquenchable rage and a dangerous world. Compulsive actions, An anger where you are refused time to think. Artificer's campaign is a lesson and a power trip in one.
Please stop this madness. I don't know how many tear-inducing Artificer fan art I can endure. The more I watch this the more heart wrenching it becomes. Mostly because I now know what the lyrics are. "I missed you..." with the transition from a happy family to a scarred and armed Artificer hurts. I just wished there were a more happy ending for Artificer. One I thought of is that instead of exacting revenge, and killing the chieftain, she turns around instead. This could then be the key to get to the highest karma level, as this would imply that she's forgiven them allowing you to actually break free of these forsaken cycles of reincarnation and suffering and ascend properly. Maybe I'm humanizing them too much, but they are obviously highly intelligent creatures and thus it wouldn't be too far fetched for them to be capable of things like forgiveness. Especially considering how other characters are capable of ascending beyond this world. This would be the most preferable (and not too far fetched) alternate ending instead of either meeting your pups once more during a failing ascension before disappearing into oblivion or getting locked into those damned reincarnation cycles. The latter wouldn't be much of an issue for a not self-conscious animal. However, as I already mentioned they are incredibly intelligent, and seem to approach human-level self-consciousness. Artificer is my favorite character so far, but just hurts playing so much. Edit: I thought I've seen a mod that gives Artificer an ending not too dissimilar from what I'd just described. Though I want to finish the unmodded game first before doing anything like that. Update: Nope. The mod doesn't exist. It was just a theorized possible ending that isn't out of line with how the cycles seem to work.

Nice detail with the Scavenger Chief's Rain Deer skull. In the moment where Artificer kills them the marking on the forehead is higher than Artificers (It's still the 3rd tier, so the Chief is bad too, but didn't commit *as much* genocide), but when Artificer puts it on it's the lowest type, showing that Artificer is a villain for all the genocide she committed. Still think the Chief got what he deserved though.
The skull being of a Deer's is interesting. They're peaceful docile animals, and take a lot to kill, so to obtain one would take a ruthless harvest, and whoever bears it must be just as cruel. The Chieftain's evil therefore passes down unto Artificer through the symbol of the mask.

I have a slight thought that mapleshade (from warrior cats) and artificer could possibly connect with each other, seeming as they both lost their children, and were blinded by rage to get revenge for ones they heald dear be lost from them.
I havent watched a rainworld animatic or animation that has made me feel for the artificer more than this one, the use of the colors specifically, how it goes from so happy and bright to dark and gloomy is really good, this is one of the best rainworld animations ive seen

It’s amazing to see all this stuff popping up on my recommended now. After Downpour’s release I’ve been seeing more and more of these. I’m not sure if it’s because they didn’t exist or if the game wasn’t popular enough to get attention from the algorithm, but regardless of the reason it is very cool to see this kind of talent in our community! Amazing job!

Just now getting into Rainworld and this is a very unique way of drawing Slugcats, but I love it! The art is so beautiful and the scenes each look like a painting that you'd want as a background to your PC or to hang up haha. I am only sad I am a little late to all the RW hype!

Artificer backstory is just sad, having two of their own slug pups. One killed right in front of them by a spear impaling their stomach, the other by a scavenger throwing a grenade, which kills the slug pup
The second one was actually exploded by a scavenger grenade, not her own. Also further, the pup didn't die from the explosion, but was drowned by leeches.
