    I am pretty sure that I saw Dorothy, Toto and that lady on the bicycle go flying across the road in the distance. For the record those flying monkeys worried me as a kid. I don't think I have ever personally seen ducks back into a spot in the decoys to set! A lot of your viewers are probably good, experienced hunters, but I appreciated you sharing your calling thoughts during the hunt. I am not going to attempt to defend whoever left the duck and the beer can out there. If it were just the duck, I could see it. The obvious guess is they upgraded from a teal to a mallard. I would be really embarrassed to tell you the list of things I have forgot, left in blind and had to go back and get.

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that wind was insane. And i hope they just forgot it and didnt intentionally leave it. You didnt kill stuff and not eat it in my neck of the woods.

    I don't know why you don't have 100k subscribers -- I expect it will happen with time. Thanks so much from a frustrated hunter who has nothing like your Ark/Kansas resources. Watching you, Golden Boy, Elliott, and the rest is a needed consolation prize this year.

      @@ChasingGreen im from North central Okla and its been kind if a struggle. But its nothin new. Our big flocks any more always come at the end of the season. Makes me really wish the start date of season would change to a later date and run all the way through march. Think if the wildlife dept would do that us down here in the further most southern states would have better luck. But it is what it is. Im just blessed we have the opportunity to hunt what we have.

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah OK is pretty darn solid from i hear. The reason they dont give us later dates is because the mallards really start to pair up at that point and hunting longer than what is allowed currently could have a negative impact on the breeding season. Im from arkansas and we deal with the same thing.

    My favorite conditions to hunt ducks. The only problem in California it's always spring that fly the best on those days and were only allowed 1. But still a great show.

    Right when I was thinking you needed to be louder and more aggressive in your calling you got louder and more aggressive. Some days demand subtle, other days you have to scream at them to get over the top whether it's windy or not. Good job recognizing you needed to take it up a notch.

    That opening segment looked like a scene from the movie Twister. Do those headphones you wear pick up the wind sounds or help cancel it out? Can you course direction of sound with them if you hear some quacking or wing beats?

    • @ChasingGreen
      @ChasingGreen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, ive been able to course pretty good with em and they definitely cancel wind noise. They get to be a little uncomfortable after awhile if you wear them all morning do to them being muffs but the performance is great
