If you've seen Mickey Mouse in the movie Fantasia 🎥 being shot off a champagne bottle 🍾 I can tell you what it's like being shot out of a 5 foot Diameter pipe some 50 feet in under the Railroad track 🛤 with a 25 foot headwall of water 💧 on the other side. COMING OUT!!! WOOO-SHHHhhh😮😮😂😂😂
we have a 14 acre pond on our property. The Bucktoothed little buggers keep damning up the overflow. We have 960 acres of shed that comes into the pond. So we have to clean it out when they block it. After the first time we spent half a day cleaning it out, the next morning it was all back in place. So now we burn it once we throw it up on the shore.
Well done, and without the usual mud, it looked like the work went smoothly and quickly. Considering beavers' persistence, do you have an inspection/clearance schedule for this prime dam location?
In my younger years I spent a lot of time hiking in the Appalachians. There are many "benches" along the creeks that indicate beaver activity. They are natures sediment and erosion control specialist.
I use to use 2 tires stacked and tied together, with a 100 foot lenght of strong rope! Tie the length of rope to the tires, and a vehicle to pull it thru the culvert! It only takes a few minutes, and you're done!
Hey, I just found your channel, I'm really excited. I grew up and still live in the Fox Valley and in my opinion it's an absolute hidden gem for outdoorspeople. There is so much to explore and enjoy. I can't wait to see more videos.
4:23 Where’s camera two? Would love to see what is happening on the other end as you are clearing the entrance. First time viewer of your channel. Keep up the good work. And 🎉Happy New Year!🎉
For even more water flow satisfaction, you should do a split screen with camera two, so you could see how, what you are doing on one side, affects the other side.
Get forty feet of six inch perforated Corrigated flexible drainage pipe. Place 2/3 of pipe upstream and 1/3 down stream of the dam inside the area that was excavated. Clamp down the upstream portion into the lake (stream) bed.
If water gets into your boots, your feet will weigh an extra few ounces. If water gets into your hip waders, your legs will gain an extra several pounds--hard to walk or keep your balance in such conditions.
How can this video have over 100K views and TH-cam channel only have 6K subscribers. Come in people join up. I use to love doing this sort of thing as a child lol. I only had street gutters to play with hh.
First time viewer,I quite enjoy these satisfying videos...good job and thanks for taking the time and effort to make your videos... Merry Christmas buddy
I worked at a park back in 2012 and we had a running fight with beavers clogging 48 in culverts and a 72 in spillway. We would tear the one in the spillway every after noon and by morning they would have it replugged. And on mondays when we came it it was 5 to 6 ft high. We had to do that until late june when the water dropped enough that there was not enough for them to rebuild it
Neat video….tbh, I felt anxious, little scary, I wouldn’t want to trip and get sucked in there. No offence buddy, but I was glad/ relieved when the video ended. Great job, stay safe.
What a way to be spending Christmas day! Your video just popped up on my You Tube & it was so much fun watching you bust that beaver dam through that culvert. I'll just have to subscribe! Merry Christmas to you & your family!
It’s actually ARCTIC Fox 🦊👍 lol yes I love Fjallraven clothing very durable and the pants 👖 are the best I ever owned worth every penny 😊 just strong beautiful timeless clothing that last a life time
@@foxriverbushcraft2345 naaa... not really. Fjäll is like mountains (that are high enough to be above the tree line). You can go to "fjällen" for the week to ski etc, but there are several "fjäll". Most of them not in the arctic. We even call the ski resorts down in Europe (in Switzerland for example) for the Swiss "fjäll". The direct translation of arctic is actially just arktis. Fjällräven is a known brand here and there are even a market for vintage Fjällräven-accessoars that can cost pretty much. Like old backpacks in good conditions can go for hundreds of $. (Thousands of Kronor/SEK). ;)
It would be interesting to not only see your end of that pipe but the other end as the stuff gets washed through the entire pipe and see how that changes
HEY FOLKS AND WELCOME OR WELCOME BACK 👋🏻👍🎄❄️⛄️🎁
Надо было мусор на берег убирать. А так оно запрудит в узком месте ниже по течению. И бобры будут неприделах.

You and I have two vastly different definitions of the word "Explosion"
The “ explosion “ appears to be a dud.
@@jamespeck2852 I reckon it would have been good at the other end.

That was pretty cool watching that dam float past the end of the culvert. Heres to you having a great christmas and a happy new year Jonathan.

Never underestimate the power of a Beaver ... " Says every man to have walked the earth".
is there anything worse than wet feet in rubber boots when you're trying to work?
merry christmas my friend. stay warm and dont fall in.
Fun to watch. Happy New Year
Great unclog, Merry crimbo
four feet of water? more like a foot and a half, 😂😂😂😂😂
Lol 😂😉
New subscriber. Great video!
A job well done.
I saw a different guy doing this and he setup a camera on the other side so you could watch the water come through.
MERRY CHRISTMAS JONATHAN & FOXRIVERBush Fam
Just curious as to why you don’t use waders? Thank you for getting wet and I am sure freezing for us. Have a great Christmas and New Year!
According to Post 10 channel wearing waders when unclogging a culvert can be dangerous ( like a sail the water pressure can sweep you off your feet)
@@steamfandan9682 oh ya I forgot about him saying that.

2nd camera perfection!
AND in a week, the beavers have the dam rebuilt!
That was going to be my question, how long till they get started on the rebuild.
good job, merry Xmas, new sub
Love the toque that with the Swedish logo. Is it from Sweden and made by Fjällräven

Maybe two feet of water, not four. Do you always double your measurements?
he's been told it was 6" all his life so....

All I know is if gotta go clear out a flooded area, I'm wearing waders instead of calf boots.
