Congratulations Sir Fox 🦊 200 amazing videos 👍 this was very satisfying to watch love when you work on culvert clogs 😊the water by the road was pretty high great work draining that back, the city workers appreciate your hard work and so do all your supporters, thank you 🙏 looking forward to seeing more
Hey Johnathan big fan here, I watch guys like you that tear down beaver dams like me TECH 86, strong suggestion, quit let so much go down stream, it will just clog it up down stream, take all your sticks out first, then take your rake and start at both ends of the dam and drag it off the sides the dam will tear itself down, nthe rake should be the last thing you use, try it that way and your dams will be smaller, keep up the good work, Be aware and Be Smart, God Bless
Congratulations on 200 beaver dam removals 👍👍this was a awesome video I’m sure the city worker you talked to appreciated the help🎉🎉 the water flow was insane 😮great work fox 🦊
Congratulations Johnny!!!! Us OG will be like….remember when he first started. 😉. Sound quality is so much better. Definitely worth the upgrade. Stay safe!!
I'm so glad that there still people like you that do go job i mean good job for the environment , not so many you guys do this. please keep up the work and god bless you
Happy 200th video. 🎆🎉🎂 Starting in the middle of the channel and working your way back to the bank would have made more sense. Clearing the dam between yourself and the bank is like sawing at the branch you're sitting on. Also I'm wondering why you don't use hip waders and a spade.
Congratulations on 200. This is my first time here… and everything could have went down stream. My opinion 😂😂 laying in bed. But thankful for the video. Amazing job 🎉
Nice work! That definitely helps that waterway out! Congrats on 200 episodes! Hope your channel blows up soon! I just subscribed and clicked the bell. The whole time I was watching I just kept thinking that it would be best to just use an excavator because that damn is so massive! At least you tore some down and helped drain away the flooded area! Thank you for all your work, God bless!
Just a suggestion but the really long beaver dams what go all the way across like this 1 in the video how about doing it as 2 or 3 part video where u go back and open the dam a section at a time untill u have it cleared all the way across so the full dam as been removed eventually
I echo the congratulations on your 200th video of Fox River Bushcraft. You've done a great job showing the change one man can make. I only wish that some older teens might shadow you on a tour of the river and the streams you've worked on so they too can learn about the local waterways.
@8:40 The beaver jumps out of the den and makes a run for it. Beaver is first seen on the dam, runs over the top, into the water and swims towards the large tree in the background.....also gives the water a big tail slap to show appreciation.
Congrats, You know how to find them, that was another huge one, Unless they have a long reach Ex they still wouldnt be able to get to the spot you cleared...
The fastest part of the River is the center which also has the most power because it's deeper. I would of put a whole right in the center of the beaver dam. The edges of a river has drag and slower.
Question: why don't you remove as many big sticks as you can before you start raking? It seems like it would be easier that way. At least it does to me. Just curious.

Great episode. Find out when the city is planning to use that excavator on the dam and video it for the channel.
8:40 Dude has no idea pissed off beaver on the damn and jumping into the water by the tree. 8:44 beaver smacks his tail on the water trying to scare him away but he's oblivious and doesn't hear the slap on the water due to the rushing water.
While there are some that need taken out for various reasons, there are others that appreciate the beavers when drought hits in other areas. They tend a large pond by my house. The beavers were transported and rehomed here to manage different places. Once in a while they release some water but for the most part they are left alone. :D We aren't in flat or lowlands so no one cares when they make a dam. lol
We don't have too many Beavers in California due to the lack of water. Today, the beaver population in California is between 10 million and 15 million, down from 100 million to 200 million in North America.
I feel like in a lot of these kinds of videos they could save a lot of effort with a grappling hook, snatch block and winch system. Even if it was just a manual system it would be less labor intensive I would think.
Beavers don't live the dams. They use the dams to raise water levels to submerge the entrance to their lodge, which is a big mound of branches with a hollowed-out center, or a burrow along the shore, if it's in a canal too narrow for a lodge.
Please let us watch the whirlpool theost relaxing part is the water flow .. and yes I see the fake part of this as well .seems someone was there before the rain but its ok just watch other drain unclog videos and see what people like . And just so everyone knows the type of drains are definitely different there. Hard to o find the beaver ones lol
@@foxriverbushcraft2345still sounds like click bait to be a special as it wasn't even the culvert you or working in but sust down the river from it the tubenile is also sust as miss leading i saw not one but 3 pipes that look like pipes you have cleared in the past im like wow he has to clear 3 of them this time how's he going to do that only to find the pipes aren't even a 1/3 of the video a batter name for this whound have been i clear a 50ft dam sust as likely to get people to click on it whis out lieing about it
200 videos and Let's beer can float down like he doesn't care about litter... Like they all are saying the damn will be back up 🤦🏼♂️ at least clean up the trash while everyone is watching to set a good example 👍👍🏿
i watched the whole video waiting for an explosion. Turns out, I was lied to and my time was wasted on a boring video. Get some tannerite or an excavator next time
200TH EPISODE 👍 Hey Folks And Welcome Or Welcome Back 👋🏻 hope everyone is having a great day today, see you in the next video 😊
What town was this done in?
I imagine there are multiple Fox rivers in the U.S. probably with the same background. But, it looks exactly like the Fox River near me in Depere.

Did you heart your own comment on your own video?
Great job!!! I'm enjoying your videos.
Congratulations on 200 videos. Have to say though I didn't see any pipes exploding so I don't know what the click bait title was all about.
Congratulations. Hello again Johnny. Ready for the show from Darlene and my kitties in London Ontario Canada 🇨🇦

200 breathtaking vids of fun. Every dam broke along the way. Love the journey. Looking toward to 500 mark. Cheers man. 👍👊👊💪❤️
Forgot to add,you do an Amazing job..From England.
Whoot-Whoot on the 200!!! And, yes, one of the best!
Looks like the beavers have had to extend the length as their dam became more and more effective
Congratulations on 200th episode 😊
A great partial dismantling this day. Excellent water flow. Eventually dropping the water level. See you on the next, Jonathan! 🙂👍🇺🇸
I never expected you to clear that much, you made me tired !
🎉200 congratulations I think I have watched all 200🎉

Damn that dam is a lot of work.
Beavers have a hard time rebuilding when most of the pre-dam (mud) has been cleared away
Are u located in Illinois
I was a little skeptical you would make much ground, but you made light work of that beaver dam. 👍
Cool video as always
I wonder if u could get a cable threaded under the dam and winch it open?
You're kidding I hope.
Hope you get a second camera, with your 10,000 subscribers 😂😂😂great ❤❤❤

At timer 8:40-8:50 you can see the beaver I think over by the tree on the other side. Goes from bottom of dam to top of dam real fast.
Well Dagbert and Norbert are gonna be might unleaded with you!!!!!!lol😂
Unpleased…..stupid autocorrect and me not checking before posting…..😊
Definitely a big Dam Great video

I must have fast forward through the explosion stated in your title.
If you blink you might miss it 👍😂
If you look in the background at 8:37 you can see a pissed off beaver climb over the dam and slap it's tail on the water.
Haha, busy little beaver engineers they are! You know as soon as you leave they will carry on
What state are you in?
We don't have too many Beavers in California due to the lack of water. Today, the beaver population in California is between 10 million and 15 million, down from 100 million to 200 million in North America.
Guess I missed the "PIPE EXPLOSION" no culvert being unclogged.
Any one else notice at the 8:40 mark behind and to the left a small beaver or muskrat.
congratulations 🎉 but I set my settings on 1080p but the video still doesn't look clear and sharp 🤔

Why do you try to rake up creek
Beaver popped up like what you doing 8:43
Would the Weeds that's getting pushed throw,,not cause a blockage further down..
200th episode and lots more to come 🎉
TH-cam wouldn’t let me like so here is my 👍🏼👍🏼
That’s what’s called a temporary solution to the problem.
Ever have beavers still living in dams you break open?
Beavers don't live the dams. They use the dams to raise water levels to submerge the entrance to their lodge, which is a big mound of branches with a hollowed-out center, or a burrow along the shore, if it's in a canal too narrow for a lodge.
8.40 mark. Look carefully in the background. Looks like an angry beaver checking you out.
I wish you used a second camera in your videos
🎉where is the fox River
Great videos
Seems to be a blockage downstream but I am not sure
Oh wow! I’m looking over to the bank and the water level has really fallen
The title was clickbait :-( but I watched the video anyway. The technique was different from Kenislovas but the flow was restored.
Beaver: Hey this is a union job!
dude, pick up the beer can!
Use dynamite. Save on the back, and enjoy the fun of launching sticks into the air.
Would have been too much work for you to pick up the beer can ?
Pesky little bastards, sure are great engineers.
Escavator? 😂
good job
I see the beavers like Coors.
Dynamite is a thing … would have saved you hours of back breaking work

No Click bait, ever time I do a culvert project that’s just how i title it 👍

Did anyone else see the animal run up and over the dam into the water @8:40
And we pay DNR for what again ? I want my extortion recreational fishing licenses money back.
That was quite underwhelming.... where's the so called "pipe explosion".....🤔. Looks like a typical clickbait video title...🙄🙄
STFU not click bait
“PIPE EXPLOSION” ?
Where's the EXPLOSION ?
Takin a bath 🛁
Why aren’t your hands frozen like ice cycles?????
I missed the explosion
💪💪👍👍👏👏❤️❤️
It wont take them long building that again

I can't help but notice that you throw the sticks on the river bank so the beavers can find them. Very thoughtful.
Well, beavers dont reuse sticks or really use ones that are already on the ground afaik
Lunalie's right. Beavers don't use used sticks, since they think they failed the first time. They rebuild dams with new material.
Beavers will not reuse anything they take from the dam
@@lunalie6938 True! Post10 can attest
While flawed in this situation, that level of logic on the part of the beavers is pretty impressive.
👍🏻
