Thank you! I really wanted to see all the iron range action, not just CN. NSM is a super cool operation and BNSF is really underrated. To see 1943 leading up there, hauling ore at 60, was a real treat. We didn't even know that it would be leading KLLSUP until a few hours before. It was definitely one of my favorite moments from my trip.
Really neat video! I live 1/4 mile north of CN dock 6 and I fall asleep to the hum of the locomotives moving ore around. As a rail & shipping enthusiast, I feel really lucky to live here. The old CN ore hoppers have been replaced by new shiny, pristine ones - as of a few months ago. I'll have to keep my eye out for newer locomotives on the CN ore line.
1:16:26 Yeah CN is starting to moving hoards of C40-8s down to work on the matteson sub, so they’re life isn’t entirely over, but they will get more laid back service now
Thanks! Best advice is to watch the CN Iron Range ATCS/TrainMon5 server, which gives you all of the coverage from Proctor to Virginia on both CN mainlines. You can also watch the Steel Highway Munger railcam to see what trains are coming.
Great video!
Excellent video, 27:36 was beautiful. Love it that you covered the BNSF & NSM, most people only focus on CN

You’ve earned a sub amazing video! I plan on trying to get those C30-8s next weekend before they are phased outta service.
You're such an underrated TH-camr! Love this coverage of my home state, please do come back here again!
Thank you! I would love to come back to Minnesota, the Iron Range has so much to offer.
I lived just off the road the camera was set on at the beginning. Traveled that road from W Arrowhead to Esko/Cloquet many a time.

I plan on going to the iron range in April. Do you mind if I use a few of your clips (with credit) in my video and in some teasers upcoming?
Great video! Consider using a different color for your font, as red green color blind people like myself are struggling to read your captions.
Can't see the train because of all the print!!!!!!
