Is there any way to lock the face so that it doesn't change constantly whenever the side crown scrolls..usually accidentally? 😢

I believe you are correct, however, sometimes the same watch from different suppliers/vendors can have a different app and/or more or less features, so I don't know if they are 100% the same. I've seen some vendors remove features from identical hardware through the operating system or app just to hit a lower price point.
