I like to think Bob Ross would be thrilled beyond belief to know how much his legacy endures. He helped a generation of people to overcome their fear of the blank canvas.

Near the 25 min mark I had this moment of wishing Bob could have just been immortal.. the guy had such a kind voice and simply made you feel great while watching him paint. It’s so pure, such a pure thing should be forever preserved. What a legend.

Bob Ross is a huge part of my child hood. when I was a baby I would watch this with my grandma to go to sleep. great memories. RIP Bob Ross.

A true legend. I’m so glad I rediscovered him years later, better late than never again. The nostalgia hit so hard... I used to watch his show on PBS when I was little in the late 90s. He inspired me to sketch and paint along with him while I watched. I loved how he used his brushes and tools on his palette 🎨 Who knew I’d watch him again as an adult for his calming vibe that many people seek, to feel at peace and appreciate the simplistically majestic scenery he created on each canvas. His techniques are brilliant, I’ve always been mesmerized by how he did it. I’ve always resonated with his artistic vision, as I have always chosen to sketch the same images he tended to stick with🌊 May his soul RIP🌸🙏🏽 I thank him for his contributions and for sharing his energy in the way that he did. Hope he knew how cathartic, even therapeutic, his voice, work and overall presence was and continues to be for others. He did this work out of genuine interest. There’s no such thing as a mistake, you can work with it and change it in any way you want, don’t worry about it as he always said. Just go with the flow and let go and enjoy. “If it doesn’t make you happy, you’re doing the wrong thing” couldn’t be more correct for everything you do in life. Don’t ever settle for what doesn’t serve you no matter what. He even encouraged us to become one with nature and all these things are really hitting me as an adult. Wise words that can be applied in many aspects of life as well with the perspective.

Bob is recognized as a saint among men, a champion to the living spirit of kindness. He is known for this throughout the whole world. Today he and his message stand as a legendary example of how we ALL should behave. With that being said in todays society we DO NOT follow this mans example. Instead we dismiss each other over political views. The left wish harm to conservatives physically and systematically. There are others out their like Bob who would be chastised for having a different opinion. So yes, i ask the hard questions. The ones most avoid. Just because the man is dead does not mean you or anyone else is exempt from judgment of character or integrity. Especially when putting into consideration of Bob message of confidence, good will and peace to the world. It seems alot of people love this man politics aside. Many love him. So i say again, would you love this man if he where conservative, would you love him is he where left? I question everyones moral and character. This isnt an attack against you or anyone. I had the privilege to watch Bob on pbs in oklahoma growing up. The thing i loved about Bob was even though his show was broadcasted to millions of homes Bob made it feel as if you were his only audience and it was a private lesson. No one will ever come close to having the kindness and honesty Bob had

I watch this particular painting. Right off I feel my Dad's presence. I lost Dad April of 2020. Seeing this Dad is in heaven setting in that cabin. Feet kicked up on a stool in his recliner with Mom. Thanks Bob Ross, tell Dad hi up there in heaven.

I just really love to watch him take a blank canvas and making beautiful nature picture that looks so real and dreamy. I like to watch him on my iPhone at night before I go to sleep because his voice is so soothing. He would be floored to know what people are still enjoying him
