@@thetroveyoutube if you look up "a Walt Disney Christmas" there's a really good collection of shorts on there last it was released with all of them together though was in the VHS / laser disc era. I miss when Disney used to do those little collection releases One of my favorites on there is called Donald snow fight where he has this massive snowball fight with his nephews or they hold up in a snow castle and he's in a snow battleship lol

What a great ranking! My favorite is the Bambi scene! I've watched that movie countless times and that scene is definitely one of my favorites in it. I always wanted to play in that snow, it looked really fun. Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

The scene from Rescuers Down Under where Wilbur is trying to fly in the blizzard is hilarious and Disney doesn’t animate snowstorms very often. I kind of wish they did

I love the winter environment of "The Bells of Notre Dame" in The Hunchback of Notre Dame for symbolic reasons. The cold environment fits with the dark tone of the number. I liked how it snows rapidly after Frollo kills Quasimodo's mother in front of the cathedral. Symbolizing God's anger towards Frollo's violent act. The cold surroundings also fit with the choirs chilling vocals.
In my career, I hope to make a Disney animated feature that takes place in winter and I want the film to have an Eyvind Earle influence. He painted beautiful winter/Christmas art and even worked on some of the backgrounds in Lady and the Tramp. The look of my film resembles Sleeping Beauty if it took place in winter.

Cute list, though I’ve been seen Fantasia either. The point of the movie is a form of visual storytelling without dialogue. It was literally meant to push the boundaries of animation and using a beautiful blend of art and music to tell the story. Anyways, I don’t think Frozen should’ve gotten two spots, and despite I never really liked Frozen to begin with, I do have to agree with Anna and Kristoff meeting Olaf. I really love the design of the trees with icy crystals surrounding them. However, this is one I was kinda disappointed didn’t make it. I don’t know if Home Video sequels didn’t count, but I would add the opening part of Pocahontas 2. As much as I hate this movie for shitting on the original, I really love the part when Pocahontas is playing with Nakoma in the snow, and especially Where Do I Go. The opening using the waterfall (where she met John Smith) is now frozen and in a way represents how their love has died ever since she heard of his death, and has to let go of him to move on in life. Its a really beautiful scene when she sees images in the frozen waterfall of her loved ones and how they’re doing now, with Nakoma married and her father wanting to make her the chief very soon, to having to say goodbye forever to her lover. The part she buried the compass on the last place she saw him is really sad, but she knows it’s for the best and she can finally start healing. Unfortunately everything after that scene is massive sh*tshow. My other favorite scene would be either Bambi or Fox and the Hound. The latter is really adorable as Copper is trying to learn to become a good hunting dog for Amos and growing up from being a playful puppy to a seasoned hunter like Chief who gradually becomes jealous of Copper’s attention.

Hey man! This idea occurred to me. You wanna do something unique with the Disney Eras that no one's ever done before? How about yearly recaps of the year's events portrayed by various eras? Those are popular.
I'd personally love to see someone make "2022 Portrayed By the Disney Renaissance" and other eras, and do this every year.

    Merry Christmas to you too
I was expecting that you put the Rescuers down under on this list before they go to Australia and if that got a remake it would be like a Thriller movie because it is a dark for a Disney movie especially the boy getting kidnapped through out the film.
I think that the Nightmare before Christmas and Christmas Carol Jim Carry one should have been on especially for Jacks okay song and the Peter and the Wolf part looks like it came from Looney Tunes mainly because the design of the Duck who looks like Daffy Duck.
Also I thought those Mickey Mouse shows would be on here and does the Muppets Christmas Carol count?

Those are good ones you mentioned. This list was just for movies from Walt Disney Animation Studios though - so the 61 movies they’ve put out.

Frozen doesn't qualify. The movie takes place during summer, not winter. don't be fooled by all the snow Elsa creates.
