Well done Al. I find evening races harder after eating over the day. It also looked really warm which also make it even harder. Your effort looked really good which is all that matters and just try to enjoy it. For me I feel like doing harder intervals once a week really helped me get back to speed after niggles along with weekend long run. Keep the great work up and hope to see you in a race sometimes
Al …my friend….you are no failure……ever! The thing is you did it and it looked hot! Keep doing what you’re doing …..you’re an inspiration in everything you do xx😊
Al, honestly man never think you're a failure. You're an inspiration. Listen to that support you got all the way round. I did the in April and was disappointed not to get a medal! What's that all about...😊
Al, you did absolutely AMAZING, you most certainly are not a failure, well done Al, well done!!! My Garmin keeps telling me I can do a 25 min 5k, I have yet to run one under 34 mins, with each race I push myself harder hoping to do a 25min 5k one day…
@@leesahscottage663 thank you for your kind words. Oh same, it's almost like Garmin taunts us with what we should be doing compared to what we can actually achieve x

That's a good time mate another experience. I paced 35 minutes on this one and really enjoyed it 😊
