I get sick and tired of being accused of being a fanboy simply for being angered that Capcom could strip the series of everything that it ever was, leaving only a character from a previous game, and still call it "Resident Evil". RE4 was exactly this; no T-virus, no Umbrella, no Raccoon City, no S.T.A.R.S., no survival horror. Everything the series ever was, gone in a flash. And Leon Kennedy makes a game "Resident Evil" just by being in a shoot 'em up? My arse...
For me Resident Evil Outbreak had so much portential but I definetly felt that it was rushed...just didn't have the charm to it as many other RE titles. I could have been great and honestly you have to give it credit, if you think about it, it pretty much usherd in a new generation of zombie games(yes even outside of Resident Evil)Dead Rising, the new Resident Evil games, and even Left 4 Dead can trace back inspiration to this one game weather they know it or not. Shows how great it could be.
Alyssa and Yoko didn't have a shameful death. They uploaded all of Alyssa's report to the net. (Even if it was more-or-less covered up after the mess.)

@kingtrey001 The outbreak saga would have been something between Dead Rising and Obscure. With a multiplayer offline option and more zombies per scenario. I think if it had these options it would have been a total success
I'm planning on writing my own U.B.C.S. fan fiction story I may use this BGM in it yes this will partially involve Carlos Nicholai and the other surviving U.B.C.S. operatives but it doesn't mainly follow Carlos I'm still trying to elaborate on it a bit

Have you seen THE BLOB remake? It is from the 80ths, but is a good example of which kind of movies Re Used to use as source xD.

I think that the point is that RE has that athmosphere of those B or Terror movies which were so typicall in the 90ths xD.
