- This is the first of the two tracks you can hear in the RE3 bonus game "The Mercenaries-Operation: Mad Jackal", starring some UBCS members. I like this theme, it's very adrenalinic, and it fits perfectly with the atmosphere in the minigame.
I must say I like very much the UBCS as characters, I'm a fan of them! Shame they're shown only in a few RE games...

+ReonMagnum Mikhail is good for learning the layout of the mini-game and for building confidence. Carlos was always my favorite to play as, tough.

@@VivianeAlves1997 Well yes. Major part of their forces were wiped out in few hours after deployment but still there were dozens of them who manage to survive deployment and survived or died later. It could be really interesting plot.
@@VivianeAlves1997 Well no. UBCS was deployed to rescue people and contain the threat. The moniters/supervisors were asked to do that.
@@jirikrajak Wouldn't say major, that was mostly case of Delta Platoon (the unit of Carlos, Mikhail and Nicholai), while others either had heavy or lower casualties during the drop., and then ofc there were some platoons that didnt suffer any casualty, for example Platoon Charlie, that had no casualties at all.
This game came out so long ago and I still find it so much better than the remake.
That's because the original actually tried hard. It took a limited concept and greatly expanded on it in every way. The 'Remake' is a disgrace unfit to share the name of the original.

Jill goes to the RPD for the lockpick to open a door in the city, Evil Nikolai helps the team get to the Clock Tower, the bell of the Clock Tower summons a helicopter that appears in the middle of nowhere in the apocalypse.
Only these have no soul and no complement.

Wait, the original game had more explosions because the buildings just fell down and how short the hospital was like every other level that came after the city!
This is one of the best theme tunes in the resident evil series Carlos is the best of the three I wish the remake had this mode with Jill.🧟♂️🧟🧟♀️🎮☣️
Good description, uploader. Those U.B.C.S guys suffered just as much as the residents of Raccoon City did. They get their time to shine, though, thanks to the Outbreak series, and this, hands down the best incarnation of the Mercenaries minigame.

Sigh....the remake fell flat on its face. Should have been as epic as the original with this kind of music.
The Mercenaries/Raid Mode is the most addictive side-mode in video game history, period. I wonder if the RE3 team knew they made a hit that would keep us playing for years.

i had a real fun(and patience) with nikolai. His knife may not be so powerful but when you got PLENTY of seconds after butching two dogs together....satisfaction!! ^^ Also, when you acquire more ammo for the pistol it seems like god came from above, and that weapon look like a Magnum for how it is precious!!
You're not a man if you don't try beating mercenaries with nikolai.
What if not only did I but i did so without the enhanced handgun ammo, it was a pain but worth it

I think that RE3 version of mercenaries is best one. It's real classic, and I hope they do "remake" of RE3, similar to RE1 Remake. It would be awesome.

This kinda made me join the infantry. Served 8 years in the infantry and might joint the army reserve infantry unit in my city.
