I have a 2017 Q50, I bought mine off my sister for 2300$ I also got a steal like you. how much was your exhaust ? And how much was the tune .
Pretty sure he has a muffler delete so that’s like $100. The tune is anywhere around $800-$1000 probably. Just get a full exhaust, test pipes or high flow cats, intakes and then get tuned.

a tune doesn't do much on a 3.7 q50... the 3.0t is a different story.
It doesn’t do much but it definitely feels better than stock

I mean he’s not wrong in a sense, the shield traps the air in a way where it has no choice but to cool everything in the engine bay. But he’s making it seem like it’s gonna give him an added 10hp if he gets one lol
Just to protect the engine
Simply put.. The undertray is actually part of the aero..and is designed to assist with moving air. They arent shaped the way they are for no reason. This in turn assists with cooling. The undertray isnt just a piece of plastic.
