Great pedal & great company. I've had it on my rig for a long time. I think mines #160 something. I usually use it on top of a Maxon pro plus overdrive. Sounds like it's going to explode. Great review! 👍
Fuzzes can be tricky mothers - but this pedal seems to have that nice explosion, warbly goodness. And of course it is nice to have a player that can control all that fuzzy goodness. Sick playing Rabea - as usual

I've had a few analogman fuzzes and they're all great when you understand how to use fuzz and what they're meant to sound like. Nice demo and wicked pedal. Reminds me what an idiot I was letting it go : ( GAS has to be financed somehow

I keep my amp clean but I use my archer ikon to create the sonic soup.... a bit of a tap dance but I like my fuzz on top of that much like you mention. My Analog man Astro tone fuzz which is much mellow-ER sounds good without the archer at 1/2 fuzz but add the IKON under it brings out some cool fuzz sounds for sure. Nice demo can’t wait to try the peppermint when a local store carries one

You review the PEPPERMINT FUZZ and play everything except the style for which it was named.
Seems pretty monster style! groovy review, but the one thing I think would be nice to see would be how nicely they roll off with the volume knob. One of my fav things about quality fuzz pedals is their ability to roll off into bluesy tones.

+Chris Tataryn This one does not get clean up when you roll down your volume! It gets weird and sounds like a trumpet or trombone sometimes. Our more normal fuzzes (Sun face) get clean when you roll down. :)
The PEPPERMINT FUZZ is not supposed to be a "nice" sounding pedal.

They're meant to sound like the speakers are breaking - nice and Broken sounded. Not for everyone understandably.

Hey man, the reasons I would give are
1, it's much lighter and still 50 watts which is super loud if needed - but switchable to 25 as well.
2, it has two completely different channels for different tones, which are really good in their own way, plus they clean up really well.
3, it has incredible bass response and is super flexible tonally, especially if you use your volume control.
4, it takes both EL34 and 6L6 depending on your taste

A year? Man, did you get paid for the promo (it's not a review by any means by the way), or did they just send you the pedal?
I'd feel bad if I were you in the first case.
Also, you should propably conisder getting a dental thing (similar to a mouthguard) for playing if you grit your teeth. It's not great when it gets to you and breathing through your mouth starts to hurt.
No I didn't take any money, and it's not a review, which is why the title says 'Demo' I just play through the pedal - despite saying review in the video without thinking. I don't grit my teeth I just seem to move my mouth a lot. Thanks for the heads up though man :)

Throttle Box is better.
+Patrick-Emil Zörner Sorry but not even the same type of product. Throttle box is metal/hard rock pedal but not fuzzy in any way. Peppermint fuzz on the other hand makes your guitar sound like farting distortion.
+badblood100575 same same but different ;-) It is not entirely true what you say. You may set the Throttle Box way down to a mild and soft bluesy overdrive. What is true: yes you can kick it up till your Amp bleeds.
Would like to see this used in a practical setting. Never understood the appeal of fuzz. :/

+Alex Padilla We still make this one, we ran out of the transistors for the DARK Peppermint fuzz (which has a light overcoat of fluorescent blue paint).

Hey mike, whenever i turn the tone knob all the way to the left theres no sustain. the fuzz and sound completely just fizzle away after a couple seconds. ive tried several different batteries but no improvement. maybe thats how it works and i just dont know. can you clarify? thanks
KRUSTYskates Open up the back and adjust the trim pot. You can fine tune it so the sustain is a lot better.
That is normal, for sitar and other nasty cutting-out sounds that some people want. The calibration is to set it like that. If you don't need those gated nasty sounds, you can calibrate it differently, see the inside bottom plate for how to do that, have fun!

Watching this video I have to agree with you. But since I already own the pedal I can tell you that it's NOT the PEDAL that sounds like garbage. It's HIS sound and playing that is garbage! The best description I can give you of what this pedal really sounds like a Marshall Super Lead 100 cranked all the way up to 10.

Strats sound like elephant farts. The pedal sounds like shit, all breakup and cracking.

a muddy mess...they used pedals like this because it's all they had.
and what you are describing as muddy some consider great.
